Two cars from mazda and toyota, both sedans, same engine capacity- both have 1.5L VVTi engines if I am not mistaken, both are roughly about the same price (the toyota has a slightly higher market value just because it is a "toyota")
Ok, Our family thought of getting down a car for a gift permit after looking into the whole process very very deeply. I am now looking at a axela or a corolla (YOM 2003/04)
l personally would go for the axela over the corolla because it looks better than the corolla and is not very common in the roads (121's are flooding the roads) and having driven an axela, the handling is perfect for me on a positive note , the 121's fuel consumption makes you fall in love with the car
So, like always I am in doubt I'd be delighted if anyone could explain to me which of these could be a better choice.....
Cheers!
KillerB,
I wonder what factor made you to go for a Gift Permit? As per the new Tax reduction, you will be more benefited if you by a car under normal import procedure. as the new tax reduction will not be applicable to the Gift Permit Scheme. (Still you can import a 5 year old vehicle under Gift Permit if I'm correct. Blue Permit will allow for a 10 year old vehicle)
I also planned to go for a Gift permit, but later gave up the idea. Could you please tell me what are the benefits of going for Gift Permit. (Other than the depreciation allowance)
