still could not find it anywhere i will look there thanks. thanks for the info. i didnt change the tube it was the one that was alrealy on the car i just hooked it up to the tank, have to change the filter soon and its gear links it just moves freely have to fix it this weekend, this weekend have to try taking it to the service station for full service when i trying taking it to the service station something goes wrong this time it was the gear. And i have one more problem after i start it and run for while and then turn off the engine and trying starting it again it never cranks and theres smoke coming from the alternator wires and after a few minutes it starts if you know anything about it let me know. Thanks for your help

Yesterday had the fuel tank serviced and cleaned the fuel lines and fitted them to the car and then fixed the acceleration cable temporarily, and later night around 10 we took it to the nearby filling station to pump some petrol and check the air for the tyres after that we were returning home and suddenly the car turned off didnt start somehow we stared it and moved a litte and it stopped it didnt wanna start the we looked under and noticed that the tube that connects to the fuel line and fuel tank has got bursted and all the petrol was gone, we werent that far from the filling station soo we took a can of petrol and tryed starting it but didnt start then we push started it and it started and this time my cousin was the one who was driving and we finally got home and the gear is not shifting its dead:S, dunt know what happend to it. Today didnt get to do anything had some work probally next week have to see whats with the gear.

Yup it really does attract weridos lol cant wait till this weekend to start working on the car, wanted to take her out for a spin after fixing all the small issues still cant find the acceleration cable, do u know any place in kandy where i can find 504 acceleration cable?

I was kinda confused after i read this how my cousin would do somethin stupid like this cuz he knows that i posted it up on autolanka but i still asked him he was like no it wasnt him, then i just figured it out that it was my cousins sister's son he was the one that was using my laptop yesterday, but still i dunt understand why he would do something stupid like this cause he got nothing to do with the car, this kid needs to grow up he just made himself stupid here N Harshan im really sorry for this stupid kid reported on u, but still ur the one thats really encouraging me for the restoration and he forgot to report most the autolanka members there also encouraging me for the resoration lol.

have to repair the front shocks i guess and have to grease everything and do oil change, and its really hard to steer, on this weekend change acceleration cable and clean the petrol tank because now using it on the bottle, and do a full service if everything else done on the weekend then clean the lens like u said. the rims are corroded have to fix them probaly make it tubeless not sure thought for right now not going to do the body work probally start the bodywork in a month or more. here some porno pics for u to enjoy:

i thought u still had ur 504 it was a beauty, yesterday put back the interior changed the spark plugs and fixed acceleration cable its still kinda messed up probaly change the accelaration cable next weekend. wow 504 is really comfortable just took it out yesterday for the first time i went through some road bumps didnt feel anything like new cars, I will upload some pictures tonight after going home

i have asked my uncles if any accidents or anything happend to it before or anything was changed he doesnt remeber it still, the pictures are really helpful i have saved them will need them in near future when doing the body work. Today at 12 i started to do some work on the car painted the floor with anti-corosive paint and then tryed starting but it didnt start had to clean the distributor and the spark plugs finaly started have to change the sparkplugs tomorrow. one of the mechanics told me how engine is in good conditon soo nothing to worry about it soo probaly install new spark plugs and fix the brakes and fix the interior back and then after awhile start with body work. thank you very much for taking ur time to post all this pics bro. soo do u still have ur 504 or sold it? here are some pics of the interior after giving it paint: Dashboard what do i do for this? do u think i can find it anywhere around?

yee thanks for your info ill pm u if i need anything and i looked at ur car i love it. yee its a GL model yee the rust attack is in the front windshield frame too, but im not going to touch that i was planning on giving the body work to a good workshop, i just noticed the look after u pointed it out its a bit different but is it because its a GL or something? i dunno about this car that much. thanks for ur info and hope to learn more from u about the peugeot.

HI Guys me and my cousin planned to restore my uncles Peugeot 504 soo i just thought making a progres thread. my uncles has a Peugeot 504 one owner car hes the original owner of it for the past 7 years it has been sitting in the same place, soo me and my cousin planned on restoring it back to running condition theres few body works to be done i dont think theres major engine problem we started it using a bottle of petrol because i think something wrong with fuel line and the petrol tank, soo yesterday was holiday we had no work soo we started working on interior removed the whole interior and gave it a wash. And we plan on doing some work on the weekend give a paint to the floor and clean brakes and the fuel line and the petrol tank and start it and do the other works on the next weeked i will keep u guys updated with the progress. thanks Pics after giving it a wash:
