Thanks jdnet. Does the car seem like it's misfiring when it's idling or at low speeds? Yes it is and the fuel consupmtion also very high at low speeds. Also is the coolant temperature normal?Yes tempeature is normal. Can you please sugest me a good place to do the checkup. I did the tune up at vimXX motors at Kattiya handiya nugegoda and i am fed up of them because they replaced plugs (not even one year old) once i complain this issue. They were not kind enough to do a scan to see whats going on. Just replaced plugs. I was doing all maintaince at agent. But because of time issues i had to stick with these guys.

I did a recent tune up (one month ago) and now while drving engine stoped. This happened twice when i was in a trafic and car wasnt moving. AC was off and also i noticed some skidding or missing while driving (at about 40mph) without AC. With AC no problems. Fuel consumtion also not good at low speeds. Car is a Honda civic exi 2002 (1.5cc) and millage is at 136xxx. Can this be a hint of transmission failure that honda inherits or is the car leading towards it? ALso waht would be the cost if it be a transmission failure? any expert thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I hear an external noise when I drive the car on a rough road. I recently removed the vent visor (rain guard) by myself due to cracks on it. I suspect this noise started after that or it is coming from the number plate (license plate). Also I can hear a little noise when the car is on start and not driving (sitting on a rough surface). I want to check whether this noise actually comes from number plate or from the side windows. Is there a place to fix this type of things? Car is a Honda civic 2002. Thanks in advance SpotLight

Hi, One of my friend is working abroad (more than 5 years)and sending his salary directly to his SL bank account. He has an idea to buy a car and asked what are the pros and cons of blue permitted buying over normal. Does anybody here knows about this and also can we get the support from Dealers to import under blue permit? I did search this in google but things i found were not clear enough to get a good idea. Its an Exi. But not a brand new car. Imported from Singapore. Bit different from other Exis i have seen so far. Got nickle handles etc. Checked available service records and they says i have gone 13000kms after last AFT change. Thanks for all the infor given.

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and this is my first post here. My car is a Honda civic ES8 2002. Except that regular service from Stafford Motors what are the other things i have to do as regular changes. I am checking oil and water levels after three/four rides. I have heard/read that it needs gear box oil changes too .If yes when and how can i do this. Is it done with regular service at company or do we need ask from them to do this? Also are there anything else that i have to keep checking/changing? Thanks in Advance
