Hi All, Please advice me on Honda City 2003/4. I read old posts as well- its automatic gear box is famous for issues. I am planning to go for a manual one(so not to worry on gear box issue) What is the average market price of this car these days? Are there any special things need to be checked? Are there JDMs of this model?

No pain.. it is bought. Felt it is a better car compared to same price range Jap cars.

One of my well known friend is going to buy a Mitsubishi Lancer CK2 car. He is going to pay 12.90 for the car and is it worth for that price? it is a 1998, 300-xxxx, full option, carb model. Car is accident free and with no running issues. It has good set of alloy wheels. Pain is not bad, he will have to do a cut&polish.

Anyone can help me finding a place to buy these gear lever parts of my carina 1996 model car.? one with the gear lever is completely removed and the one which has labeled (P R N D 2 L) is broken.

Thank you all.. I showed the vehicle to a mechanic(he is a technically qualified guy). He said that I do not need to bother much and engine is still in average good condition. He told me it is normal to come oil drops out of the pipe of this engine model(I have to accept this is not a brand new engine:) As he mentioned, engine is about 50% in condition and I can use it further without bothering about it.

Thanks all for the replies.. one more thing to add. I do not see any oil burning in the engine. I service every 4000Km, and do not see oil level drop even at 4000km. Also, I checked with a well known spare parts shop and they say the ring set and the overhaul kit costs only around Rs.12000 (twelve thousand).

My van (Mitsubishi Delica PO15) engine has the below issue. When I start the engine and check the oil pipe removing the oil stick, I can see some white smoke is coming out with some oil drops. Is this an indication of an engine fault? How long would I be able to use this engine without a repair? I checked same about 6000Km before and this issue was not there. If I need to do a repair, how much will it cost for me to do it? I am planning to sell this vehicle in near future, so need to fix this before selling.

I have seen several PO5 s converted to floor board gear. One of my friend told me that the brand new unit can be bought from Hyundai, which comes for the H100. Anyway I prefer to get a original MItsubishi unit.
