Ek3 Ferio

Guys one another simple question. Is there two quality types of pioneer speakers? Like local one and some other high quality one?

My one is 96 ferio. So the technology is not the same right?

EFI tunning has been done a few months back, Actually it is type ML, so it doesn't have a RPM meter in the dashboard.

hmm I thought it, but once oiled will it get again sticky after the dust is attached with the oil?

Hi Mates, I feel that the accelerator is not smooth of my Ek3. I drove one of my friends ek3, it has really smooth accelerator. Will it be an issue with the accelerator cable? Many Thanks,

That is a good fact you pointed out, thanks for sharing your experience. And I think is will be wise to use speaker baffles for front door speakers. Thanks for the info too.

Thanks for your reply mate. What do you mean by sealing the doors? You might be referring to the door panels which speakers are fixed. How do you suggest me to make it more sealer if they are not sealed well? These tips will be very useful as I’m going to installed the speakers. Many thanks.

thanks for the link, it explanes the situation well, actually i should have goggled it before hik hik. I'm not going for sub woofer and stuff, i just need a simple decent setup with decent quality sound, it doesnt need to be high volume. SO I have already pioneer 50x4 output setup in my car. But the speakers doesnt produce good quality sounds. They are sony 35W speakers. So thought to replace the speakers. Sun lanka told that there are no 50W 6.5inch pioneer speakers, so i should have go for Hunma speakers. That made me confused and thought to ask from AL.

Yes fixing can be done by myself, first need to find out a good sound quality speakers which matches the sockets

Hi Guys, I did searched the forum to find out whether there are threads which talked about tire prices recently. But seems no one has talked the tire prices recently. So I decided to start this thread. It is time to change tires of my ek3. Tire size is 195x55x15. Yes, some people who have zero knowledge about value, quality and politeness thinks that only Expensive (Most removed) things are the Best. They just go for Expensive ones without looking around. Such people know nothing about values. They only care about money. If I say directly such people have no idea of how to behave and talk politely.

As far as I feel, word Best has the meaning as you said. Best means reasonalbe in price and good in quality and neatness. I use word Best for such things. Things very high in price are not the Best always. In srilanka nothing Best in price. I thought to get some ideas of experinced guys around in Kandy and decide where to go according to my conditions. Hope there is nothing wrong with it. And I dont need to get sun or the moon as Im not in a mind to get alwasy the most expensive things. Taking time to find the what I'm looking for will be worth just paying blinding thinking that the most expensive thing is always BEST.

ah, I thought that the labor chargers would be expensive and the part cost would be same as out side if we use the genuine parts. Is the air filter which we can buy out side around 2k same as the one getting from Willis or whats the difference?

Thanks mate for sharing your experiences. How will be the cost factor compare to other places. Most of the people say maintenances the vehicle at Agent is bit expensive. As Willis is authorized service dealer of Stafford motors, will the maintenances be so expensive?

Hi Mates, I bought a EK3 a few weeks ago. I think it is better to have a complete check of mechanical and electrical aspects and do the maintenance if necessary. Which is the best place to do that in Kandy as you suggested. Hope there are kandy Honda lovers in autolanka as well. Please share your experiences of such places in kandy with all of us. And it will be really appreciated if you talk about the cost aspect as well. Thanks in advanced.
