Like dilesh said to my knowledge its from the date of first registration.

it was registered on diplomatic plates 98- now it is unregistered will get a FZ plate .there is no previous tax certificates since embassy s are free from tax. i would have to pay the same duty as when the vehicle was imported if its not over ten years old ,since its over ten years its 10% of the original duty.thanks anyway guys .

it s not a new car it's a 1991 ferrari mondial qv now owned by Sidath fernando .nothing to do with permits it had been here for the last fifteen years or so.was brought down by latec guy ravi wettasinghe and had done under 5000k s. had been never registered here since late:rolleyes:

the black car in the picture is a facelifted 520i .the white is not a m5 its a 520i with m5 body kit and alloys the number of the white is 18-5425 if i am not mistaken .there is no e28 or e30 m cars here.my favorite m car is too the e30 m3.the only m cars i know here is the e34 m5 , e36 m3 which was raced at katu running on british plates and that guys e46 m3 the only other m is the z3 M coupe which was at thurstan road

hi devinda, there is one e34 m5 in sri lanka 19-1000 is the number was bought new by sivaji de soyza.was crashed and is repaired now very rarely see it on the road its now black and a facelifted car with 340bhp. i know the owner can check with him if he is selling.he once said he would give it if he gets three million.

the pre 94 bmw 520i was fitted with a m20 engine which has 129bhp not sure of the top speed fuel consumption will be bad if you drive the car hard always or should be around 7 to 8 km per liter if the air flow sensor is ok.timing belt needs to be changed every 30,000miles.quite a nice car for that money check where it has been maintained though the post 94 bmw 520i was fitted with a m50 engine which has 150bhp timing chain, most ones came with the face lift with bigger kidneys in the front grill better get a brand new import always if available.

hi i am new to the forum i have a e30 320i which has the older engine with timing belt.the e36 came with a engine with timing chain so no belt changes every 30000miles quite a nice car with the six cylinder.always go for a brand new import as the build quality is much better and is tropicalised.
