Actually speaking I have never driven a Japanese car. I personally love the exterior design of starlets. Thanks guys you have advised me the ins and outs of both cars I really wanted to compare since I do not know about cars. I live in Batticaloa. Here I have seen one or two starlets in deed. Dear Friends, A few weeks ago I drove my car to filling station to fill petrol. When topping up, the petrol flowing out from the filling neck. I noticed the filling neck was rusted and holes were there. Further, the neck which leads to the fuel filter was completely disconnected due to corrosion/rust and I further noticed the tube leading to the fuel filter was clogged with mud and dirt. I took it to my friend whose job is tinkering he repaired it and fixed it again. What I want to ask you all is would those clogged dirt and mud have caused this misfiring issues? Sylvi I got the oil seals and fixed them. it was ok for about a week. after that the same issue occurred again then I tried oil seals from various shops around Punchikawatte since the oil seals are not available in D*MO people. Finally I found a place called VARSHA motors. they have everything for Indian vehicles: TATA, MAHENDRA and MARUTI. The problem I experience was my rack was damaged. A rack cost around 20,000 in D*MO. and the end oil seal kit cost 12,000. If I need to repair it I had to spend more than 35000 with labour charge. Therefore, I bought a new Power steering box for 45000 at Varsha Motors. Willy Brandt from Batticaloa.
