  1. trust me on this when I say, go to FutureWorld, they're proper apple agents. I got my macbook pro from the sates, and one month later when I tried to a update to the firmware, something went terribly wrong and it just wouldn't come on. So I took it to future world and got it checked; they said my motherboard was busted. But luckily it was under international warranty (cause it was only a month old), they took it in and repaired it free of charge. But they did take like 3 weeks, but I was pleased cause in the end they did a solid job and it works proper. I'm more of a PC user and I use my mbp only for iphone dev, but in the process I've grown hugely hugely attached to it. Everything just seems a hell of a lot more 'homely'. I use it to check my mail, structure my day, notes, music, mail everything just seems a lot more seamless. All in all, I think Lion is a pretty good O/S. As for software, you can install pirated stuff on it; just like a PC.
  2. aite but I wanted to know for sure what was wrong with it; they said it was the 'vvti unit' and I also wanted a proper check up done. Is this a big process? Thanks for all the replies guys. Will update it once I get fixed.
  3. Well I'm taking it to Toyota Lanka tomorrow. Once I get a proper diagnostic will take it to this garage in Nawala. I think it has something to do with the radiator cause it happens only when the engine gets hot, or has been running for about an hour or two..
  4. Sorry for hijacking your thread I'd like to know this too say 2005-2007?
  5. Thanks for the reply Stay in Kolpity, the cars with me...any help would be much appreciated.
  6. Hi, I want to know the best garage to fix a toyota car issue
  7. VVTi suggested a place in seeduwa, I think I'll go with that. It says Lexus at the back I don't know. It's an automatic but has tiptronic with buttons on the steering wheel. Thank you
  8. Hi guys, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to cars, and I'm not really sure where to get my car fixed. There's no serious problem with it (or that's what I like to think), it makes a noise when I steer too much to the left or too much to the right, so I think it's a power steering issue. When I gave it to service at kleen park they said it has a leak. I make sure I always check the level of power steering oil. Anyway my problem is I don't have a good mechanic, at least for this car. Could someone suggest a decent place that would get the job done right at a not so exorbitant rate. It's an Lexus RS200 - Altezza (Yamaha-tuned 3S-GE inline-4) made in 2001. Thanks a million.
