Hi, I've a childhood dream in buying a Land Rover Defender 110 and I intend to buy one in the time to come. The latest. Please forgive me for my lesser knowledge in the subject. First thing I come across is I want to know the origin of Land Rover. Some forks are saying that the ownership has recently been changed to Tata Motors. If this is the case, I have serious doubts about the trustworthy of LR. Seondly, I want to know the running costs, fuel consumption etc. Last but not the least, please be kind enough to supply me the details about the garages or mechanics from whom a meaningful repair can be done. Thing is that I'm relatively new to SUV's and I want to know the A-Z in repairs (first 50000 kms) running costs and other features noteworthy. Thanks.
