  1. Thanks a lot for your advise yah i guess it makes sense to fix the Nozzles first and then see if the problem persists. I delayed fixing the nozzles because the leak was very minor. i actually tried using the manual diesel pump a couple of times and there was no effect (still took a long time to start) at times the car starts instantly in the morning and there are other times when it takes a long time, this inconsistency is what is worrying me

Hi, I have a Toyota CE106 diesel car, and when i try starting the car after leaving it parked for more than a day, it takes a long time to start. i often have to keep cranking the engine for about 6-7 seconds at a time and it starts only on the 3rd or 4th attempt. once the car starts for the first time, subsequent starting is not a problem at all. it starts instantly. the injector nozzles have a slight leak and i was wandering if this could be the reason for the delay to start. would appreciate any help on diagnosing the problem and sharing experiences
