Hi, I recently faced the problem of ac not working as expected. When I got the problem tested, from the agents it was said to be an issue related to the compressor (decreased in revs). When I searched arround I found the issue to be a common one and the durable option was to change the valve in compressor or to replace the compressor. With some help from this forum itself I was able to locate compressors belonging to 2 makes. 1. Made in Japan/ Denso 2. Made in Taiwan Now the warranty of the 2 products are similar. But in many posts the quality aspect of the product was more positive towards Made in Japan part. When I inquired around for the quality and durability, the answer I got from most ac repairers is that, for Premio in general the compressor starts to fault in about 4 to 5 years regardless of it's make and would require to be replaced. Can anyone confirm or defy the above with facts? (I have not received any records related to an ac repair from the previous owner and I'm the second owner)

Hi, For Premio 2007 NZT260, when I inquired arround for the ac compressor, there were 2 types of compressors mentioned. 1. With a single sensor 2. With 2 sensors Which one is required for the above? Ps: I got to know about the ac issue recently at the last service done with the agents, and they are not revealing any part # Ant help is much appreciated 🙏

Hi, Yep it did. At the same time I have taken the vehicle through thick and thin and it never failed me at a time in need. All in all it's a really good & dependable ride. But now seems to be creating some havoc. I'll check Euro... and yes you are lucky to have found the manual non turbo. Thanks for the help. Cheers.

Hi Sierra Charlie I've been through several manuals specifically on 4G9 and 4G93 and the closest I've gotten to is a one that has turbo engine manual but still has no diagrams on vacuum line connection. That's why thought of typing here for some assistance.. Regards, Y3K

Hi All, Just thought of updating the post on latest development. Today I was able to locate a pump from a recently imported engine and it was fitted to the IO. The irony is, that pump seems to be worst than the one i had till now. The fuel pressure value returned by it is 3.7pa at idol and when in "D" it goes between 3.2pa - 4.3pa Regards,

Thanks All, Still can't figure it out. Can it be an issue with the Alternator?

Hi Clark's son When I got the vehicle checked out they said that one of the previous owners must have gotten the pump changed. In that process he has gone for Cedia with it's related pipe assembly. That's why I'm searching either for a Cedia (low cost compared to an IO, which must have been the reason for the current pump) or an IO with the pipe assembly. Although the one at present is a Cedia, it did not give me any issues till this happened. (Initially there was a case with rough idling which was finally sorted and it was related to to bad engine mounts which could not handle the engine vibration at low rpms plus a complete fuel system clean up.) And the fuel consumption was 7.7 km/l Regards, Y3K

Hi All, I'm trying to locate a GDI Fuel Pump for 4G93 Turbo engine. If the GDI is from an IO I need the pipe assembly that comes to the pump. If its from a Cedia, only the pump is sufficient. So far my search has led me to a person called Pejro Mahinda in panchikawatta, who has some pumps which are expensive. I would like to know any other places that might have this available. Thanks, Y3K

Thanks Gummy I was keen on trying these on, not cause of fuel efficiency but due to it's durability. I'm using denso at the moment but the mechanics want me to use NGK, that's why I'm being searching around.

Hi All, Was just doing a general search and came up across the above mentioned plug set. So far as per my findings, BOSH produces this for Mitsubishi, Volvo, etc to match the OEM. In fact a search in e-bay list the manufacturer as Mitsubishi, Volvo, etc. I just sent an email to D*MO SL and one of their representatives got back to me stating that Platinum IR fusion is so far not available in SL but the benefit of using it will be, 1. Increased fuel efficiency (will add 1km to the current efficiency as per the reply I got to be precise) 2. Longer plug life 3. Eliminate start-up misses. 4. Smoother acceleration (Pretty much everything in BOSCH site: http://www.boschautoparts.com/sparkplugs/pages/platinumirfusion.aspx) The interesting fact is my initial e-bay search returned me results specifically mentioning that these can only be used for CNG/LPG !!! My questions are, 1. Any members using this already? 2. If so is this available for petrol vehicles? (IO to be exact ) 3. Purchase place and cost within SL? Is Laser Iridium plug available in SL? (This is something I came up across NGK. The tip is of iridium but the head is of platinum and produces a laser beam instead of an electric spark {according to what I understood} to ignite gasoline and durability is much higher compared to the normal iridium plug) 1. Any place to buy? 2. Contact number of an NGK agent to get more info? Thanks,

Hi, Can someone direct me towards how the vacuum line connectivity for the turbo should be in an IO 1.8 GDI please. Even a snapshot from a similar engine would help me. Recently some repairs were done to my vehicle which required the turbo vacuum lines to be dismantled and the mechanic who undertook the job apparently missed out to mark it down. For now the turbo is sort of dismantled. Please assist me on getting these connected properly. Thanks, Y3K PS: I've mistakenly posted the same in general section under bellow link: http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/16318-pajero-io-18-gdi-turbo-vacuum-line-connection/ It would be great if the admin can remove this, as I could not find away to do it.

Vehicle: IO Technicians: Rangoda, Gayan and Sunimal Place: You need to travel about 3KM, along Weboda Road, Kadawatha (pass ranmutugala junction towards kandy on kandy road and turn right at the IOC gas-station). There will be a board at your right hand side with the words "CT LIONEL RADIATORS" which marks the beginning of a by-road and a small shop at your left hand side. Ask from the shop where the repairing shop is situated and they will direct you (need to travel about 1.5-2 km on the by-road). Opened on: Saturday/Sunday (will put their number after consulting). Type of work: Mechanical, electronic, AC, ATF, Engine Oil changes, etc. (No body shop or painting) Cons: Prepare to spend some time. initial estimates are not 100% accurate Pros: 1.They are really honest and will frankly tell you what's wrong. If the issue is something they can't resolved will definitely let you know up front. 2. Most of the parts needed can be purchased from a famous shop in Kadawatha (either you can buy and provide or they will make the purchase and provide you the bill) 3. If needed and you do not have any connection or online purchasing capabilities, they will support you to bring down genuine OEM parts which is 1/3 cheaper than the company (as per my experience)

Hi The Don , It's from D*Shan Auto Par*s (The famous M*hind* *iyas place) Also only the sensor W/O the sockets can be cheaply taken from a yard which is located in the left hand side right before "Tire Junction - Dalugama (Kelaniya) (When going towards Kiribathgoda) ". I can't remember the name but they have the part and offered it to me for 4k, by then I had already purchased from the before mentioned place. Regards,

Hi All, Just an update, got this replaced. The process took a well known mechanic, some cleaner spray, a small weld job Used the spray to get a sensor out of a knuckle with an abs but without proper sockets and got my own socket fitted with some led welding. BTW it cost only 4.5k for the sensor part. Cheers, Y3K

Hi All, AGENTS 29,500/- wolseleyYep, I got it checked from agents itself. Anyway now I'm running without the sensor!
