Can someone please give details on Benz E200 petrol car? I went through the old posts, but need to know the present market value and maintenance challenges of Benz cars. Need to know about the model attached below . What is the best car of this range? Mercedes-Benz E200 1986 - Saw a car in another website asking for 15laks..

I do not run daily, so fuel is not a very big concern for me. But I have few questions to clarify. Is it possible to get a full checkup of the car at the agent as Toyota company does? What is the average service cost of the car and can we do it at normal service stations(like A_to Mir_j? I was looking at the prices last few weeks, seems some people sell it at fair prices. I am interested in buying a 406 model car. Need to find the most suitable car for me -D8 or D9 ,LX, GLX, Rapier, Executive.... I went through some old posts on 406, seems there is not much fuel efficiency difference on 1.8CC and 2.0CC engine. What is the average price of a 2000-2002 model car? I saw some adds varying from 1.3 to 1.7mil. What are the major things that I need to check when buying the car? Like Toyota corolla 121G grade, is the GLX having the highest market value in SL?

I painted it just 2 months back. Attached a photo of the car after painted.

It took 40k for me to whole thing. Comparing with many other cars that my friends hv get painted from other places for 70-80k, I am really satisfied with the finishing. Anyway do not compare the finishing with the company paint jobs! I gave my one after seeing that painter had done a complete nice paint job for a Cherry QQ black color car.

I do not need him to see this or read this, this is as a respect to a gentlemen who helped me and saved my money. I have read on good of other people in so many places and it brings me happiness even I do not know about them. Hope you can also be happy same way!

I am posting this to thank Mr.Sylwi Wijesinghe for helping me getting the car paint job. He helped me get painted my Toyota carina for a very reasonable price, and also with good finishing and within a week's time. So I would like to make this a point to specially thank Mr.Sylwi !

seems the issue is in your gear box, it doesnt come when you change from 3rd to 2nd, isnt it? anyway manual gear box repair would not cost musch, a good mechanic would fix it perfectly.

How is the fuel consumption of FD1? Does the A18 do same as the Luxel does in fuel?

We too like the facelift model, but seems they all goes over 4 million. Anyway is it true that the 2004/05 model is having a less market value ( one of my friend told me that it is sort of a failure ) , is there any known issue in these models or is it the same normal rumors that people spread close to a new version release? And also all the 2002 to 2004 models are having the same shell/interior or are they also having a difference in the shell/interior?

Does the A18 comes with the same engine that Toyota Luxel has ( that is a car that I love so much.......) Do Allions of 2003/2004 (1.5 or 1.8) comes with a CVT GB? I think most of them are ECT, isnt it?

My father is planing to sell his car and go for a Toyota Allion (2003/2004 models). Budget is around 37 laks. What are the versions of Allion (is there a G grade,if so what are the additional features that comes in it) ? Are there any versions having less 2nd hand market? Is the 2004 and 2005 models having less 2nd hand market? What are the different options that comes in Allions (illumination dash board, ect)? What is the highest grade of Allion?

I have driven a Maruti on Galle Road on a Poya day and it did 20km/l with AC... but it's average in city is less than 14km/l

If the concern is on fuel efficiency, you will have to spend more than Rs.250000 (assuming petrol stays at same price) within two years time if you are running over 20000km per year, compared to a Jap car I think this is the only reason why people go for Maruties. People say Maruties run even if they feel the smell of petrol Although the comfort, security and all the other options are very low in maruties, the above car has gone for that price .... (it was one of my friends car)

Is a Maruti for 11.5lks too much these days? year - 2006 , KC-XXXX A/W, spoiler,sec. system,pioneer setup,.... This is an agent maintained car and it is in superb condition.

Actually the reason why I put my car there was the same, bec I was very busy during the weekends as well.... One of my friends also sold his FB15 manual car within few days at this place(newspaper adv and autolanka didnt work for his vehicle). He suggested the same for me and it worked for me as well.... My advice to others is that, don't agree to the price they suggest you to put. You analyze the market price and take the decision if you are to put ur vehicle in a place like this. Its true, they are doing a business!!!

I didn't reduce the price and it got sold within 24 hours to the price I expected.... I'm really satisfied with their service, specially they supported a lot completing the money transaction easilly and securely. I too agree that some people do nasty things to the vehicles there, also seems it is not under their control as well...they give an insurance for the vehicles when they are kept in their premises, so hope you can claim if damage is done inside the car sale (dont know how easy to get it when it comes to a practical scenario ) Anyway, before taking the car to the sale, they check the vehicle, specially the body condition. Also what I felt was that comparing to the other places, this place you find good condition vehicles. The issue is that they ask us to reduce the price we expect to put, where I accuse that they may put their own people and buy it and they can later sell for a higher price or they want to sell the vehicle asap and get their commision. Anyway we have to pay them Rs.15000 only if the vehicle get sold.

I wanted to sell my car and went to put it to the M@l@be Pu#chi car N!v@sa... My car was actually in very good condition, but by inspecting the car they started to condemn the car and asked me to put a lesser values than what I expected to put... anyway I didnt agree and put the selling value as I expected.. vehicle was sold within 24hours... What I feel is like, they try to convince our car is not in good condition and may be they themselves buy the car and later they sell it.... anyone havin same sort of experience???

what will be the price of fb 14 cv joints and engine mounts? still the sound is in primitive stage, will it make any damage if I drive around 200Km....( need to wait till new year holidays passed... )

yes... finally bought it.. the one I reffered earlier was gone Didnt want to stay more at this moment... I got it for 12.5... price was little high I guess, but car is in good condition, even my mechanic confirmed it. anyway I'm pointing to a Carina of one of my friends....if it comes to my price (he is to leave country), I will sell this and go for it... I like carina's look very much
