How important is it to get the correct oil filter? I have no clue what is the correct oil filter for a Mazda Demio? The service station guys used a 'VIC C-415' but how would I know if that's the correct oil filter for the car? The box shows OEM for Mazda JEYO-14-302 JE15-14-302 8173-23-802 G6Y0-14-302 What does this mean? Also the User Manual is all in Japanese so I don't know how to refer the manual. Thanks, Rehana A.

Thank you @GayanR, @Rohnd, @NRX and @Nish D. Really appreciate your input. According to the mechanic, the rack would cost around 15k. Repairing the rack would not last long and replacing would be the best option. I will definitely check with mazna. Any landmarks finding mazna (never been to papiliyana). I'll be coming via Nugegoda Junction. Sound: I hear and feel a strong click sound while steering the wheel about quarter away either side. One of my friends suggested that it's also better to get an OBD check while getting the steering rack repaired (not too sure what that is - I only know that this will detect engine problems). Do I have to pay if I get this service (this might be a stupid question but I'd like to know)? Thank you. Rehana A.

There is noise coming from my steering wheel when I turn it both ways. The mechanic suggested that I need to replace the steering rack of my mazda 3. I rang couple of places to check the price buy it was not available. Can someone suggest where can I purchase a steering rack for a mazda 3 and if possible the price range? Thank you. Rehana A.

This thread has been sort of violated due to the <//Sylvi //Watchman //Pericles> argument. This thread/topic really has lost its purpose. The next viewer will have to read through all these rubbish to get to know about the service offered by CM. Isn't it? I'm not blaming anyone but I've lost interest in this thread but for the sake of keeping my word, I wrote that single sentence about CM.

My personal review about C**Mart Rathmalana : 8/10 (I'm satisfied with the service they offered) MAZDA Car.

As in many other forums worldwide, If there was a points system within the forum and displayed POINTS ACHIEVED below the profile image thumbnail, it would have been helpful to differentiate the "good pros" from the "bad pros". (i.e.: The person who starts a thread is able to give each helpful answer 5 or 10 points depending on the quality of the answer).

I will be collecting my car hopefully within the next day or so... Will write my review with pics...

My husband has already sent the car to CM I'll keep you all updated (perhaps even with some pics of my car)... As to what I've told and read, it appears that CM is offering a much better service now. This would certainly be helpful to all mazda owners... fingers crossed.

@Watchman: I already did that before I opened this thread. I did not come across any C**Mart customer satisfactory reviews... Get your facts right before making a comment.
