  1. for vehicles first registered within last 04 years, they charge about 250k and for rest, it's the same old amount. Not confirmed by RMV officials though, as I heard from people who went through the process. Can someone further confirm this?
  2. See, not even a clue required whent the right players taking part I guess. it's indeed a 605 with Gutmann Royal body kit
  3. ok, it's not Japanese, why I didn't give any clues is this pic reveals certain authentic lines, curves of a particular make

  12. Ha ha good one and a nice trivia suggestion. This is probably due to the upload site I used. And to be fair by those who trying to quit, one answer was very close.
  13. Nope. This is too easy I think, so don't expect any hints like, close, warm etc. So keep guessing.

  17. was impressed by the fuel consumption figures that 406 trip computer threw out during last week. Not that I'm saying it does exactly or above 11 kmpl as trip computer suggests. For those who got complicated by French design, this says car consumes average of 8.91 liters to run 100 kms. (Note : this is not the instant figure, but the average for the trip which is more accurate. ) But, as I felt it did above 8 kmpl which I initially thought only would do 5 ~ 6 kmpl provided that it's a 2.0l automatic. However, I was very gentle with the pedal when I reach about 50km/h or so and with the climate control mode off and set the fan in 1 st speed so A/C kept on switching off pretty fast than usual. Now I wanna try some hypermiling techniques with it, start with 33 psi tire pressures around all 4 corners
  18. that is .. take the floor
  19. was looking for a one sometimes back and didn't come across a good one like this, seriously. Always had a soft spot for a one to keep aside to use in family trips
  20. too exposed I guess anyways give it a try, easy one
  21. then it must be a caravelle
  22. thumbs up. let me add my two cents.. The hum could be due to a simple reason like a worn out tire with broken plys. If it persists with a new or a good tire, it has to be wheel bearing as IST is a FWD car. The rattle, usual suspect is the stabilizer bar bushes or multi-links in most of modern cars.
  23. not a conversion, MK II diesels s came with 31 - 9XXX onwards and bearing 32 - numbers mostly.
  24. VW Jetta MK 1 ?
  25. I don't think there's something call original VW fragrance or Volvo fragrance etc, it's just the smell of the materials used inside .. as long as they use same materials, you'll get the same fragrance.
