  1. Hi, I am looking for some help from members who are currently using Nissan Leafs Number one is do we need to do some sort of a conversion to power supply before plug in a Nissan Leaf to electricity at home. I am asking this because Nissan Leaf is a Japanese product which are designed for 110-120V and we are using 230-240V in Sri Lanka. Number two is what is the normal charging time it takes to fully charge the car? I am getting answers ranging from 4 hours to 21 hours for this question. Please share your experience. Them will be really helpful for me and all others also who are perspective Nissan Leaf buyers. Since Sri Lanka as country is more towards hydro power plants and uneasiness developing in middle east countries, Nissan Leaf can be a good saving in the long run. Cheers !
  2. Thank you all for your valid opinions. Will discuss those points with the mechanic and will let you know the outcome. Thank you once again.
  3. Hi Good Morning ! I am facing this problem for some time now. I checked this with our family "basunnahe" and his view is that this has nothing to worry. More about the issue, car gets a >2000 RPM when I switch on at "P" and get down to 700-800 when I changed to "D". RPM gets normal after continuous 15-20 km and idle stays around 400-500. What I have noticed is this problem comes when the engine is cool and with the heat it goes off. Some background, car is an allion 240, 2003 with 120,000km on the meter. Oil levels are maintained at required levels but not sure about descipline of the previous owner. I did a tune up and changed all plugs 6 months ago. Is this really a something nothing to worry? Look forward for some opinions from learned friends. Thanks.
