Would anyone know of an Alfa Romeo Giuliette or 159 for sale?
-
Great response guys.. Just what i needed. If I get my hands on a good Alfa I'll share the news with your'll.
-
Thanks for that.. I did a few online reviews and watched a few viedoes and the build quality isnt that great in that car, I'll drop by this week at the showroom anyway and have a look. compared to the 159 i drove and had a look, that car was so much attention to detail and that grunt!! specially when u downshift.. oh man.. great soundtrack i must say. Anyway I will check the site u mentioned and thanks again.

Thanks heaps. Very helpful.

Tell me more about the Giulietta if you do know. Options for the price tag, offers on permit, engine, transmission etc? I don't think Micro offers a test drive.
-
Ok if we disregard the permit is it still possible to get one down? After tax and all that I wonder how much it would be if so.
-
Please do let me know the price and also, are you running a 159 at the moment?
-
Hey guys, So I've been looking online to find the price of this italian beauty Micro cars have to offer, but no luck and guess i'll have to pop into the showroom my self. But before that, i'd like to know if anyone here knows the how much it sells for in SL, Also alfa owners feel free to share any information on this car.

13 Mil for 2005 sport? That is unbelievable.. I saw a few at Southland Motors. @Jaguar Someone I know has the 2013 Vogue. And it sure does feel like driving a 7 Star Hotel room through the streets of colombo.

@RAE Definitely going for one which has all four of them replaced. @Gummybr I think i'll drop by at Frontier and check the Vogue out. Speaking of colour, would love to own a white Vogue. @Jaguar Yes that's the one I called up and checked, It was sold for 15Mil. @Fuzzo You may be right, but its a 2008 Vogue and the market for a Petrol Vehicle is always lower than a Diesel, and considering its a 4200cc V8. All in all I'm very happy with the relevant responses. Good chatting with you guys. Happy Hunting for me.

@iRage Correct. I think I got this info from Top gear. But seriously adding options like Sonar, I mean you really think.. When will you ever use it? Lets be honest no one is going to cross a river in a Range Rover Sport. You have the real 4x4 for that. may be one day when you least expect it, it will be useful, but hits the pocket hard when you have to get it replaced.

@Gummybr Yes I agree with you.. The Evoque to me is a disgrace for the range rover. what they have done is tried to make the "Range Rover" affordable. In my Opinion the vogue is a true Range Rover, not even the Sport. I hear the sport is built on the Discovery Chassis. I'm not too sure but that's what I heard. Spending Rs.50k even at a service is not a problem, as long as I don't have to rush to Frontier every now and then trying to get something replaced. I'm not planning to do any heavy mileage on it as well. so shouldn't be a problem i guess. Oh well, gotta keep my eye out for a well maintained vogue. One last thing. how big is the Tank? 100liters I'm guessing? Thanks for the helpful info.

@Rae Yes I was hoping someone would say the service would cost around that much, most of it goes for labour actually. Ahh.. Electronics.. see that's the problem, you never know when one important link might give up.. No matter how well you maintain.. What does your friend think about the vehicle over all? Is he happy with it or looking to give it away any chance he gets? After all I guess its an acquired taste to own a range rover no matter how costly it may be. You being a Land rover owner what are your thoughts? I have never owned a Land rover. Are you happy with Frontier? Are you happy with your Discovery? Because I'm guessing the Range and Discovery might be quite similar in most ways. But what I really would like to know are the downsides your friend has on the Range Rover. If I do get one its gonna be a keeper so i'm not worried about resale value. And thanks for the info. Very helpful.

Which Manufacturing Year, Is The Limit To Import?

Which Manufacturing Year, Is The Limit To Import?
VCBI replied to VCBI's question in Car Buying Information
@Crosswind I see, i was thinking more of a SUV. I guess that's not possible. Are you a fan of Fords? Noticed your profile picture. -
@Watchman Range Rover is basically the Rolls Royce of an SUV. That means it is a Luxury Vehicle. I know its going to cost a lot. But i want to know how much is A LOT? Please guys just answer the question if you know the answer. @Fuzzo Thank you for giving the first valuable comment to this topic. I did contact that seller, but it seems i'm too late. It was sold for 15Mil. I found out this morning. So i'm guessing that's what it sells for in today's market. That was 4200CC Supercharged V8 Petrol. (at the moment I own a 4500CC petrol engine vehicle of different make and model and it does 2km per liter in city limits and 6km per liter outstation running with my kind of running So i'm guessing the Range Rover would be something similar to cost of running) And yes your right, the Sports is a lot more than that and i'm honestly a fan of the Vogue. I wonder if parts are freely available and if its expensive as well. what I hear is that Range Rover's are a bit Fragile when it comes with so many options.

Which year is considered to be the limit to import a vehicle? Any possibility to import a 2004 model?
-
@Jaguar As a cur buyer one of the things you should check is the running cost. To see if it is within a margin that you could afford. Hence I asked that question. If I was keen on an Aqua I would have started a different topic all together. I would really appreciate some valuable information please. If you have no idea stop trolling around. =)
