Apparently most lady driven cars are maintained by Daddys, Bros or Boyfriends (a.k.a slavefriends), so guess not all cars are worn out and ruined (If they are, it ain't the lady's fault anyway, coz cars are too freaking complicated, even more so than men) !

Make: Mazda Model: Familia Year: Bought is (second hand) in 2003 Price: 4.5 laks Caught fire and had to be condemned in three months (so much for the first car) And just for records, today I got stranded with a weak battery in the Maruti for the first time since it was bought And not knowing anything about the gadgets in the ride is freaking annoying and scary. I wish they had the short training (sorta thing) they had a coupla years back organised by some automobile association. Is it still happening?(It's unheard of) If it ain't, why don't some of you experts organize something to help us figure out the messed up wires dangling from inside the bonnet. One could even charge for it. This is only a suggestion

Never park on public roads, Stick to em private lanes and dingy by roads (",) An year back when I was driving down Duplication road with a friend, em silly cops stopped me and got all monkeyed up coz it was me who was behind the wheel. Even before checking the docs he was all out to take both of us to the police station. Dang! They wanted to know our relationship? whether we were married? when we were gonna be married? whether or not our parents know about the relationship? where were we? where we are off to? Arrrghhh..... what the? It was terrible coz they they didn't know a ball of English and my friend didn't know a ball of Sinhalese. I wanted to pretend not to know my Sinhalese, but had to speak up when he ordered us to make it to the cop station. Since our documents were in order and we were driving, not even parked I started speaking back, but the buggers still kept on ranting about taking us to the cops. The minute they figured that I was attempting to make a call they said, ahh yanna yanna ehenam....Hehehehe..I was just calling my mother, the buggers probably thot I was calling sum big shot (",) Crazy, Frustrated, Perverts !

Ur absoluetly right Dilesh....DVC was a horrible dissapointment. I expected him to fini the story with a big bang, instead of a lame ending like that....hmmmm I personally don't mind the guy being sued for publishing such a controversial text coz it has become "THE" book that non-believers use to callenge the Bible. I already know more than 5 people who have turned skeptic after reading DVC. But then again....I like the boldness & attitude in all his books & the flow is just awsome.

I had to face an inquiry 2 years back, coz some dimwit had stolen a Mazda from BMICH and replaced the number with my car that caught fire and was condemed which was then lying in some god foresaken garage waiting to be auctioned. The dude had forged the registration papers, advertised the vehi in ona em popular papers and finally sold it. (I partly blame the insurance company for not getting the registration changed to their name immdeiately). The car was confiscated while it was with the party who unknowingly baught it.

My lovely height happens to be 5 feet no inches, which requires me to use a cushion to sit on while driving. Every time I adjust the darn thing, I keep jabbing the seat. Guess that explains how I managed to rip it (",) I ain't gonna dump 15k to do up the seats...no way....not for this dinky toy....hehehe....I've heard about Nawala CW, but also heard that their prices have a tendancy to touch the sky I'll probably have to get a quote from them by the looks of it, meanwhile, if there are any other places, I'll only be glad to give it a try (The whole idea of having a Maruti is to enjoy cheap maintenance, a nice patch on the seat, and a camerflouge with seat covers is all it needs) Yeah Praveen, your on the right track. Any good places to patch up torn seats? The body of the seat have been ripped off by my elbows. Wanna get it patched and get some nice seat covers made out of ordinary cloth. Awaiting expert reccomendation
