There is a similar software to Nissan Datascan, its called ecutalk. It initially was just a home project this guy in sydney was doing, ended up to be a success. check it out at http://www.ecutalk.com/
In regards to the interface cable, u can either get hold of a serial or usb cable, obviously usb is expensive when compared to the serial. Here in Melbourne it will cost around the $125 mark (about LKR 12000).
I have the usb cable along with Datascan. I have to say the software is amazing. Saves you alot of cash. If any of u guys need to purchase the cable, shoot me a pm.
