Hello Everyone, I have narrowed down my search to buy l400 van(1996) / Musso double cab(2006 equipped with 2.9 Benz engine) I'm after space, ground clearance, and average fuel consumption. Will be used as trip vehicle. What will be the best ? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Everyone.. This is my second question regarding buying my first vehicle. I have narrowed down some jeeps which I can afford. Kia Sportage Daihatsu Terios Vitara Jlx I only travel 4kms to office ,no traffic. But travels lot in weekends. Mostly four peoples when traveling. Fuel consumption is not my main concern. But around 9/10 kmpl will be good. Need reliable vehicle to travel with parents. Since traveling lot of areas, I need a car with good ground clearance. 4X4 is also great for little adventures. :-) That's why I'm decide to go for a jeep. Your help will be highly appreciate. Thank You ! I like the BJ40. But most of them are not in my budget range. Is there any place I have to look for? Get a one for low price and repair it? And also I checked some leasing yards here (kadawatha) I found l400 wich is 14/13 lax, Number is 62-XXXX Manager said he can arrange the leasing. But my friend who is working there told me that vehicle is there for a long time. And the body condition is not good. Any idea about it? Thanks.

Thank You! Gummybr, The stig. How about getting a bj40, old samurai, single cab for around 5/7 lax and repair it. I found both bj40 and old samurai but not in good condition. Both engine and the body. Is 5 lax enough for that kind of repair? ( new engine, paint) And does it worth effort instead of getting good condition one for +1 million. Thanks everyone.!

Hello Everyone, I read auto Lanka forum every day. But still have trouble finding right vehicle for me.. Only vehicle I owned is VW beetle. It was lot of fun but wasn't reliable. Here are my requirements. 01. Weekend traveling vehicle 02. Suitable for rough road. (little bit of offroading) 03. Most of the time just two people. The biggest problem is my budget is only around 1million. I prefer single cabs, But other suggestions are also welcome. Only single cabs I found is tata xenon, Mahindra or jmc. Or 1980 Japan cabs. I travel around 200km some weekends on my bike. So vehicle will replace it. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank You..!
