  1. yep.. I did a test drive in a very very bumpy road. It felt really nice and comfortable to drive. Haven't had that kind of experience with any other vehicles. No problems with shocks in that messy road. Engine was smooth. true that.. never trust it until you get to know it by ur own
  2. Thanx bro! Nope, it was around 95k on clock from miles. I guess it's a semi option. The rear shutters were manual, all 3 headrests at back. I really have no much idea about full options and semi options. Bro please do tell me, what is the reason for the price to be on high side if it's semi option? Would love to go for a brand new, but the budget is very limited. Since it won't be a daily runner we chose this one What are the reasons it will tend to over heat bro? Is it simply this temperature?
  3. Thanx a lot for your valuable advice bro :-) This will not be a daily runner since we won't be using this to go to work. Only on weekends we will be using it. I will be personally looking after this car and I will have to do all the maintenance. No matter what car it is I will be keeping a separate budget and hoping to do all the maintenance required and get in touch with a good specialist. It's true, I totally agree with you, but still he is just in love with it. And please do enlighten me, what did you mean by expecting it to run like a Japanese car? :-)
  4. Thanx bro.. But will end up with the ugly looking suzukis.. Considered some perodua kelisa, dad doesn't like them at all. 307 felt so comfortable in all the ways. My dad doesn't seem to give up on this 307 now i guess.. since mazdas are smwht higher in price, this seems to be his choice
  5. It didn't quite fit well bro. Thanx alt nywy Guys, im hoping to go with this 307 as my father also seems to be in love with it.
  6. I believe this can't be deleted now. My bad. I'll ask everything on the other thread. Thank you :-)
  7. Ok boss. Il delete this one :-)
  8. Guys! Peugeot 307, a 2002 one registered in 2007. Used in UK, 150k on clock upto date. It felt so great with almost every aspect. 10kmpl on citys as he said. Manuwal, Petrol, 1.3l engine if my memory is right no alloy wheels, body condition was good. Seems like it is well maintained. Engine sounds smooth. 6 airbags. Is it worth for 1,485,000?
  9. Not into Nissans much Hiranga, and the lancers and civics are somewhat over the budget since we have to look for a one registered after 2003 for the loan.
  10. Cheers to Everyone! I'm a newbie to the maximum.. I started following this forum very recently and I have found it extremely usefull to me just as for you guys. So thumbs up to everyone who is sharing there experiences and knowledge.. Guys! I'm looking to buy a car for our family as soon as possible. These are the things I'm really considering at this moment. 1.) Our budget is around 1.5M (Max of 1.7M) 2.) As we are getting a part of it by a loan from dad's office the vehicle need to be registered within the past 12 years. 3.) This won't be a daily runner but, having a fuel economy of 11/12kmpl on citys is somewhat expected. (This might not be practical for this situation) Maybe used about 100km per week, this is just a rough idea, not so sure. 4.) Manuals are prefered, would go for an auto unless we don't have any good condition manuals in the market. (As we are hoping to buy one within atleast 2-3weeks) So right now these are the vehicles I have been looking for, Mazda Demios, Fiat Puntos and some Peugeots. I have no idea of buying Indian stuff and dad doesn't like perodua kelisas, marchs, swifts etc.. Test drove a Peugeot 307, a 2002 one registered in 2007. Used in UK, 150k on clock upto date. It felt so great with almost every aspect, but then again I'm a total newbie when it comes to inspection. I guess I was too excited since it was the first time, I even forgot to check wheher it had power mirrors :yahoo:It's 1.5M, 10kmpl on citys as he said. Petrol, 1.3 if my memory is right no alloy wheels, body condition was good. Is it worth for a 1.475M? And guys I'm sorry about the length of this post.. Just two more clarifications, In the 307 the signal light lever on the left and the wiper lever on the right. is it same for all european vehicles in SL? And how much would be necessary to maintain a usual car for an year apart from the insurance? Thanx in advance!!
