Hi ajm, Thank u for your comments. Suzuki beetle modle has the same appearance as the Jap model & was doubtful about the performances.That's why I raised the question here. I never doubt about the Pug performances but in SL context if it gives frequent breakdowns (As most people say), then I will have to consider about the Indian crap... BTW I m considering about a manual as I'hv heard worst stuffs about the triptronic. Thanks

Hi guys, I am planning to go for a hatch back in the price range of 1.5m to 2 m My concerns are - Reliability ( + Maintenance frequency ) -Comfort & safety ( lower benchmark is alto Indian) -Spare parts availability & cost ( I live in Colombo but frequently drive outstations ) Also I do not want to face unexpected breakdowns in long journeys. I have shortlisted Suzuki swift beetle (Indian ) (2006-2007) n Peugeot 307 (2002 -2004) & i need your valuable support to finalize my decision. I do not interested on March as it is too small for me. Will I have to suicide if i buy a 307...?????? ( According to most of the people) Appreciate your valuable comments. Thanks Sovi

Hello Rumesh, I forgot to tell that it was bought recently. After buying I did the first service at K___N P__K. Mechanic stated that the ATF is in good condition. I don't see ATF leaks near bell housing... As per most of comments I believe that changing the ATF will resolve the problem.... I guess..

Did not change the ATF since the ATF condition was good.

As I explained, 1. You have the issue in the morning - low temprature - But reverse & first gear works fine. 2. After drive 75m no issue - transmission get heated. - No idea 3. When you park for small time and drive, still the transmission is at the high temp. - No machan... I usually keep the car at the park for 6-8 hours. Is this issue came after several parking several hours at day time?-No Thanks for your comments & appreciate your future comments too.....

Hello friends, I want support of the auto experts to figure out an issue in my transmission. It is a normal auto transmission. Problem is when I start the car in the morning & when I put the gear lever to drive, it does not engage. I have to put to the 1st gear & drive a considerable distance (~75m) & put the transmission to drive, & then it engages properly. Rivers gear also works fine in the morning. I face this issue all the mornings but not in the day time( once I park somewhere & then drive). Could you please help with me guys to figure out what's wrong with my car...

Thanks for the advice Could not show to mechanic since I couldn't find a reliable one. But I showed to few friends who have a general idea about vehicles. Friends asked me to keep around 20k additional budget... Can I get a contact?

Hi all, I am new here & looking for the support of experts to clarify few issues I have with my P11. Recently I got my first vehicle P11, after doing research around 4 months. This was the best looking & performing vehicle which was in my budget limit. Vehicle is awesome & I really enjoying the riding ..... Threads in Autolanka forum were really helpful for me to deciding my first vehicle.... After few days of purchasing I went to KL__N P__K to get the vehicle serviced & I got the following comments. Both sides break washers leak Oil leak from crank oil seal, engine sump packing & power steering pressure hose . ( They told non of them are not severe leakages) Shock boots broken in front right & rear right Front lower arm ball joint boot broken Front right side hub ball joint play Front left side upper arm ball joint play Wipers arm bushes broken After hearing this I am little bit confused about my vehicle & i need experts support to clarify the below What are the issues which quick attention & rectification are needed. What would be the rough cost to rectify the all the issues. Any good & reliable places to get this done around Wattala, Kandana,Negombo Is the vehicle still reliable to run without rectifying these... My knowledge about vehicles are not that good & I really need your support here you guys..........
