Guys. Sorry to jump in a years old conversation. I saw in this thread that wire harness ,silencer kit, cluster meter, diesel tank has to be replaced. How to check if these are replaced or is it not possible to do the conversion without replacing those items. Can anyone tell what aspects needs to be checked especially when buying a diesel converted Montero? also if there any other parts need replacing, i.e. Suspension, Diffs etc. Thanks!

Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me if pajero 199X late series GDI V6 have the same problems related GDI as 200X Monteros? Also why is the pajero model called GDI V6 where Monteros have two versions GDI and V6. Thanks !

Can anyone please tell what is the difference between v46 and v36 models in Pajero? What I thought was v36 is what commonly referred as 'Computer body' and came with high roof body and v46 came with flatroof body. But i found out there are v36 with flatfroof body as well in the market. Some say only handful of these were imported to SL. Can someone please confirm this fact?

Hi Guys, I was considering a Rav4 from 2000s (A20 Series i believe?) But this post left me hanging. Looks like this issue is a common fault. What i need to know is, Is this issue only seen in automatic version? what if i went with a manual one? And the cost to repairs in worst case. Also if there any alternative SUVs in this range. Thanks
