So I finally managed to get hands on a Ford Escort mk1 which I've been on the lookout for years. With a few mechanical and electrical works I've managed to get it running. Looking out for a carburetor to hook on the current engine 1100cc. Any recommendations where I could get a carb from, Weber single carb twin cables? Planning on working on the following as well so any recommendations and suggestions are greatly appreciated engine upgrade to 2L wheel arches new paint - black or matte black (not yet decided if it should be matt or shiny) adjustable suspensions Interior fabrications
