I find that the battery on my Hyundai Tucson needs charging as I hardly use it during the lock down.
One option is to run the vehicle daily for about 15 to 20 minutes at about 1500 rpm or buy a car charger.
I have looked up Daraz and the available car chargers are the pulse type and not the analog type (transformer and diodes)
My question is does one have to disconnect one terminal during charging?
This is the way the Hyundai people asked me to do.
The reason being that if the battery is not isolated during charging the electronics in the vehicle could get damaged.
I checked on Utube and most people say not to disconnect the battery terminal during external charging.
Any suggestions?
I own a Hyundai Tucson which was purchased from Hyundai Lanka.
I just called Hyundai Lanka who admitted that Abans are the authorised agents.
Nevertheless Hyundai Lanka claim that they stock adequate spare parts and that they are also servicing all Hyundai vehicles.
Can any owner of Hyundai vehicles kindly let me know if they still go to Hyundai Lanka and if they are happy with the quality of their service.
Abans are located in a far off place in Peliyagoda which is most inconvenient.
Many thanks
I have been using Nexen for quite some time. I have so far done over 50k kms and have had no issues..
Perhaps the M & S tyres were not meant to be used for normal road use? I am buying the tyres directly from the importer and the shipment is due anytime now...so fresh stocks
Thank you alpha17.
Unfortunately Maxix is not available at the dealer near me and he is offering me NAKEN or SILVERSTONE tyres,
Are these OK??
The other option is NEXEN tyres. These are good
