I have noticed my toyota corolla axio 2007 stopped acceleration suddenly.It was happening while driving the car..It is going very slowly without acceleration..But can reverse without an issue..It has a VVT engine.Milage is 105,000 km and changed ATF oil 1 year back(at 100,000km)..Is it a problem with the gear box..One mechanic has seen and told need to repalce the gear box which will cost about 1.5 laks(Reconditioned japan one )..please give me your suggestions..If gear box need to be changed from where I can buy one??what will be the prices??..thank you...
