Dear Friends, I ' m experiencing a pulling issue in my recently brought EK 3.Its manual and I feel like underpowered when accelerating @ 2nd & 3 rd. Also, this is very noticable when overtaking @ top gear. As per the records, tune up has been done in last Nov @ Stafford.Current milage is 140 K I'm wondwering what 'd be the real cause for this and yr advises/inputs are gretely appreciated ... Tks,

Hi Friends, I was offred a 323 Manual one (YOM 2000) for 14.3 Mn. Its silver and has few extras like Alloys/Fog lamps & is in very good condition. As per the owner it does 12kmpl and its really good compared to other sedans in this range. But, I want to clarify 1.whether this a good deal ??? and 2.Does this car actually do such milege ?????? Hi friends, Remember like this topic was discussed in the forum some time back but unable to select from the list. I had a problem in my car when starting and found the plugs have been almost burnt. (BG 5 - carb model) My machanic advised me to change the plugs & type also but I am not that comfy abt that idea. (currently using NGK BKR 5 E ) Anyway, I ' ve to buy new stuff but wanted to know the ideal plug type for my vecicle and searched the web but it failed too. So,much apprciate if sb can advise me the link. Tks in advance,

Hi, Despite the latest products like Mazda 3 & 6 ,the image factor still hits badly on Mazda ,in my opinion.Even early 2000 models are not such atractive to compete wth its rivals.But, I should state that it has proven to be a good reliable car to me during last 2-3 yrs. I went for MAzda (Familia - 94 model) maily because of the low price in the mkt whch is a result of its dull look,Mazda impression, cheap interior & agent's bad records. I still remember ,when I wanted to celebrate my purchase,many friends asked me " oh ,why bought a Mazda mmmm !!! & why not Nissan/ Toyota ??? and advised me to change the car ASAP which I did n't do. Anyway,as a Mazda fan, I really like to see the future trend & attitude change in right drection for Mazda and loanging to own a MAzda speed 3 as my dream car.

Tks fuzzo for yr speed reply, There was a one with GC plate for 13.4 mn with 280 /km on the meter.Many a one in this price change is above 200 mark. Anyway,bit confused abt prices.There was one 301-xxx asking 1.48 mn ,not even like to negociate.( @ Kurunegala )

Hi friends, I 'm on hunting for a new car for my friend.Civic,110 & familia are in the list with limited bugdet of 1.4 m.Civic being the top priority, we found it hard to catch a one above 2000 YOM.There were enough 97 & 98 models just below our limit but still fussing as the milege of those cars are almost 300,000 (Assume its genune to some ext.) So,pls give yr thoght & advise on whether to buy these cars or shift to another. Also,anxiuos to know when it needs(milege) to do engine swap or sth for gasoline car ,esp Honda ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Recently I read an article about Tata planing to manufacture a cheap car to contest with Maruti.Their mark up price will be sth like 1500- 2000 USD.That will probably target middle & even poor class.Gvt is 100 % backing their products. Wonder why our gvt make every possible effort to frustrate our only car manufacturer who also doesn't understand& cater to local demand ......!

I ' ve driven one of friends one a lot (301 xxx).Sluggish,uncomfortable,boring are all I felt.Parts are rather cheap,but not durable as others.So, you will end up with the same cost of maintenance compared to small Japanese car.Fuel economy varies from 14-17 /L in first two yrs and will down to an average 12. But, I will definetely put it before Chinese one & Micro (not the Trend) for appearance. Anyway,this is my experience. Tks,
