  1. May cost you fuel economy due to bigger load on the AC, not sure how the interior will last with the added exposure to the sun.

    Car

The standard Alto comes with "Macho lines... Sensuous curves...Dynamic looks...Aggressive stance..." http://www.s*zukimaruti.lk/alto.htm Apparently you get something more than this in the 'sportz variant' . and Probably a lot more "..." 's
  3. Wait I should remember the one in Wella then- was it the car parked outside Curry leaves frequently? The Spraymech car must be a late 80's mk3 cause I thought that was a mk2, as its very different to the black car
  4. Other than the black mk3 with english plates there aint another car in SL right?
  5. Best place? The Agents
  6. Dude the engines are the same- I really dont think there is much of performance difference between the ViRS and Vi in manual trim. Auto maybe
  7. Well yeah its the same engine and gear box- but ViRS does have a significant more options other than just the 'body'
  8. There's the black non-turbo one that was for sale a few weeks back. Silver one would be an interesting purchase indeed

    Polish?

    Mag alloy polish
  10. You probably mean the 95-97 EK ECU, while its a different ECU from the 98-00 version it too is OBD2 (OBD2A i think verses OBD2B in the next model) - and therefore cannot be reprogrammed.
  11. lol wonder no more since the EG ECU is reprogrammable you have nothing to worry about in terms of the vtec on points. you will only loose out on the 12 valve mode. Come come you should know how 'cheap' it is to get an EG chipped and theres no risk since its been done a countless times
  12. Nope you cant reprogram the VIRS generation OBD2 ECU
  13. I guess.. or you could just change the dizzy, use a OBD conversion harness and dump in an EG ECU and run a two stage setup
  14. Sure about that? You dont need to match Ek parts directly- Other than the pressure plate and clutch wheel most parts from an old EG can be used to do the manual conversion. In fact given a choice I'd take the EG conversion over the Ek
  15. Its ideal if you can actually wait 4 weeks- that gives the paint ample time to settle down. Even if the weather conditions are variable. But usually two weeks is ok in dry and sunny conditions
  16. The insurers do share NCB information- in some cases at least
  17. Think the period last year was different machan
  18. Crap scheduling of the event really- its around the start of the fasting period. So there may be a few notable absentees I guess
  19. Does not matter who's fault it is- you claim and you lose the NCB- when they calculate the amount they contribute to the damage, its based on the sum insured verses the market value of the car. If both are about the same then should pay 100%- didnt you ask them why they deducted 10%? Hmmm 60k for 2.3 mil is high. I'm with them and the proportionate amount I pay is lower. There are certain non essential elements that you could remove from the policy in order to reduce the cost- advice you go through the details and check
  20. Isuzu Gemini?
  21. Yeah its valuable car by foreign standards let alone SL. Its a shame that so many classic fords are wasted to rust in this country
  22. So whats you're point?
  23. Yeah I vaguely remember that car as well. OT- but I even heard that there's Lotus Cortina rotting away somewhere in Homagama
  24. Sorry did some say they saw a Ford Anglia recently? Damn!! thought most of the cars in the country were dead
  25. Clearly you're one is
