Nowadays its never easy to find older version Minis to restore. My friendly advice is to go for a decent running Mini and keep on doing the weekend DIY to upgrade or continue pulse. If you own an average Mini, surely she will keep you busy during weekends doing the routine maintenance. Minis need loads of TLC. Thats more interesting than painful and almost impossible restorations.

Yes I do agree with GMI's comments. Minis are never easy to restore especially when your budget is limited and a newbie. Enjoy a fully done up newer version Mini Minor (Mk4 and above). Scan weekend papers, there are plenty of good Minis for sale.

Guys we discussed this before. In every custom we put into practice it is immoral to make fun at Autolanka classifieds, why because AL classifieds are the only commercial support and the feed line of the forum where you and I take pleasure in. Lets not make fun out of AL posted ads. We are sending a wrong message to potential AL customers.
Food for serious thought!

I think you were not seriously following Maldonado episodes.
He was a good GP2 champion boy, but his short F1 career has been littered with ugly incidents cost him many penalties. Post Valencia he was given a time penalty that cost him the point earned from Valencia. Before that he collected three grid penalties from two races if im not mistaken. One was for colliding with Perez during Monaco practices.
Maldonado is accused of lacking respect towards fellow drivers.

Kobeyashi was fined Euro 25,000 by Silverstone FIA stewards despite his apologising to Sauber team .Heard all three mechanics suffered only minor injuries. Maldonado was also fined by stewards after investigating the accident involved Perez. Maldonado was adjusted to have caused the collision.

This happens when the PS drive belts slipping on heavy stressful loads. Adjusting the little but excess slack will help this out temporary. But it is always important that you need to back off and inch or two when hit the lock since the belt and pump is under extreme pressure at full lock.

Hey GTAm mate, Pictures itself a scary episode when it comes to restoring her. But in this small island, its only you and your 'takaran baas' can give her life ,not anyone else. Good luck mate!
