    Mazda Demio 2008

thats good to hear.. and I hope I'll get around 12km/l in Colombo daily driving But I've heard from some friends that its good to use 95 octane in new models, which will improve fuel efficency and performance and also improve the life of the engine

    Mazda Demio 2008

Hi guys, I've been looking to sell my 121 (2000 make) and go for a fuel efficient small car. It seems Mazda Demio 2008 model goes for around 3.1 mil. and it has the looks There are two versions basic - without RPM meter, no alloy which is the 3.1 mil. one I looked. is there anyone who is using this Model, how is the vehicle in real life fuel consumption and maintainability, spare parts etc. I know vitz & passo is the best option.. but they are ugly IMO and its just dont feel like it I just want to get out of toyota zone... ( but still not sure if its going to be worth it )
  4. The new Rexton Model & Ssangyong Restructuring plan will it work ? All Mighty Toyota is loosing money these days. So its obvious this economic crisis has hit hard on Ssangyong. Even as it's on the edge on bankruptcy I've heard from the article below that former Hyundai executive have been recruited to help reorganize Ssangyong and they are going to introduce a new SUV model called C200. ( maybe it will become a new Rexton model ?? ) which looks very futuristic similar to the land rover concept i've seen somewhere. I'm not sure how a one new model will help the company but hope they will bounce back.. well for the sake of all the ppl who bought Kyrons & Rextons for the Permit !! (including me... ) Article link Here's the specs: Styled by Italdesign/Giugiaro, the concept was powered by a new 175-horsepower 2.0-liter turbodiesel mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The production version of the C200 also will offer a gasoline engine, as well as a four-wheel-drive option. Some Pics :
  5. I had a FB15 for 4 years, nice good car. The main problems with it is the Air flow sensors and other sensors which might break. But I only had to replace Air flow sensor once (in all 4 yrs) , and didnt had any other problem. Overall I think FB15 is better looking than N16. I dont know much about N16 but... it has an Ugly Design !! If U travel a lot its not an economical fuel efficient car as the Corrolla. So u'll be burning more fuel & money just for the "change". Try to check another brand such as a Honda Civic (Type R maybe) as well, might be better in driving - just a thought
  6. Corrolla - 1600cc $12,500 ( also 2.0L diesel model available) Lancer Ex - 1500cc GLX manual $ 11,550 GLS (both auto & Manual) $ 12,475 link: http://www.unitedmotors.lk/
  7. yeah Don ure right. its good to have a test drive on both vehicles before buying. I'll let U know how the end result is, in coming weeks
  8. Hi Guys, It seems the new Corrolla'07 Petrol version is now available for permit. I was hoping to get the new Lancer EX '08 for the permit, But there's a battle between me & my father which one to buy. Obviously my father wants to get the Corrolla (btw its his permit lol ). I know the Corrolla is good with fuel consumption & second hand market value. But I would like to get the best car for the value in terms of driving pleasure as well. My main concern is how reliable is the Lancer in terms of engine problems & overall maintenance (since we need to keep the car for 5 years ) ? So if any of you can shed the light on the better features of Lancer EX vs Corrolla, maybe I can convince him to buy the Lancer.
