lot of strife within SL Air n u wud see in yesterday's papers that 30 pilots left...it isnt the first time pilots hav left n it isnt the last...cant remember d current fleet size but there were 7 aircrafts grounded on friday

bro choppers r not as fuel efficient as planes...and they cant stay airborne for long so they extremely expensive to run n sum of em cost a hell of a lot more than learjets!!!! thats y the prices r high...n dats y u'll hav to take a few passengers n split d cost

it was from koggala to katu well the rate wen my boss went upto kandy from katu was US$150...this is a special rate but it was only for d past weekend call the SL airlines WTC office n check the rates machan hehe contacts bro...my colleagues gud buddy is an engineer at SL airlines im game for the chopper ride too but we hav to get a number of passengers to split the cost...maybe later this year?

ya machan it was true...but the catch was only 3 flights i.e. only 33 tickets...try getting one of those thats right brother we'r posh aero goons...went down to the koggala air force base n took off frm dere...landed in katunayake no parachutes machan...but dey did serve us apple juice on the flite

Ok dudes i took these pictures on friday from a Sri Lankan Airlines Air Taxi (n hence y i was missin frm d forums)...notice the huge patches of sand which i assume is the airport highway Pics r big cos i cudnt be bothered editing and not very clear cos of foggy windows wit lots of scratches...sincere appologies notice the katunayake runway a bit to the left of the last sand patch and for those who don't knw wat an air taxi is (sorry picture taken in shade) and as a bonus...a pic of our beautiful coastline...SL is indeed pretty damn nice frm above and if u want pics of ALL the Sri Lankan Airlines Airbuses grounded cos of pilot shortage let me know

i knw wat it looks like dude n trust me i KNOW its a tourer...it uses the same engine as the GSX-R1100 but it its heavier n dont expect d same handling n acceleration off the block as the GSX-R range...the Katana is not meant for grand prix n as for how much it wud b worth...no clue...but $9000 dollars n u can buy TWO 21st century performance bikes like an R1 AND a GSX-R600 or ZX6R...looks like he's goin to be wit dat bike for a long time

to be honest dude anythng above 250CC will sell cheap due to legality issues n parts r not d easiest thing to find either...suzuki performance bikes r not as popular in SL as the honda's...if ur goin to use the bike as a daily runner i suggest u dnt go for it...but if it is for an occasional weekend spin den it's a gud deal its always gud to hav a supplier who u can order parts through cos these r not things they wud stock up on

gud to knw its sorted machan...its strange to find d K&N wudve been d problem...maybe it was a tad too dirty with respect to the air flow sensor...trust me ur engine wud tremble like crazy if ur air flow sensor wasnt functioning...jus unplug it n see...BE CAREFUL!!! oh n calm down on the revs machan cos i see u hammering down greenpath every morning n i get temptd to keep up (i cant but i try)

dont knw too much abt d GSXR 400 but i do knw d Kawa ZXR is faster if pace is wat ur looking for...not a very common bike tho...ppl generally prefer a GSXR 600 as an upgrade to the 250...but 190k sounds pretty gud but i cant help u on d bike's performance itself

thats a tourer man...jus big displacement n creature comforts u'd want wen doin long trips...its the suzuki gsx-r dat is d proper sports range... n no i wudnt spend 900,000 on a 23 yr old tourer inspite of the fact dat its legal...wudnt spend half dat...rather buy an illegal R1
