A DUAL CARBURATOR with removed from a new Honda recondition D15B engine in brand new condition available @ give away price. This fits Honda Grand civic EF2 & Civic EG8 duel carb models. (A petrol pump, Inlet manipole & aircleaner also available) my# is 0718129019
  3. Guys, Reality is when people quote unrealistic prices for a vehicle, demand comes down and all they get left over and only the cars which quote a reasonable prices will be sold.... I have came across a girl who quoted 3750000/= for a HD# corolla 121- G grade... .. (without asking is it with her...!!) I just told I have a customer for 3500000/=...! She was telling if she gets atleast 3600000/= she will consider to sell the car. As a whole, the number of buyers who wanna switch vehicles will comedown in the market and reduction in damand will force people to really wanna sell their cars to comedown in unrealistic price.. For exaple if u check 2004 F/op auto Toyota vios on site (Type Vios on key word box) there are few quoting 2.9m to 3.1m... But ones in 2.75mn to 2.85mn will move depending on the condition.
  4. Also U can try out Maruchi auto @ Wijerama (Tel # 0112801443) They bring recon stuff
  5. The site also has a same X grade 2010 (Same new version) below 4.6mn if u check the site.... But with current exchange rates, I checked with a dealer who teld me it will cost over 4650/= to geddown a 2010/01 car.
  6. Comparing the budget you are looking at, which i figured out from the models u have mention 1st, the best two options will be a AE100, a civic EK3 or if it's over your budget, HONDA CITY 1998-1999 which comes 300- and 301- models is also a very economical car with less repairs. I have driven 3-4 of them and all averages 12-13 per lt in colombo and touch 16-17 per lt outstation and superb on pick up too.(better than a ek3...) But car is slightly less comfortable than a AE100 or a EK3...
  7. Guys.. One person in the market cannot decide the market price... it's a collection of many factors comes in to a eqilibrium price and this is no longer a monopoly merket... What he's trying to do is like the singhala saying "Kelani gangen pol-lellak Giya wage" Bugger has a bloody anger with car sales...in 1st place One fool starts dancing and think others will also follow... A cist of a belta is around 27-lks when it comes to the counrty.. I also have checked with many sources and silly part is some people tend to advance for vehicles that they have just seen few images... you never know what you will really get... Good luck...
  8. Hi Din, CE114 is full time $WD version of the Corolla which is very poor in pulling power and not economical as the normal CE110. I had one befoe and with great difficulty I managed to sell it for 1225/= But normal CE 110 has a ggod market. TC

Hi guys, Check with Milroy, who is the well known name for BMW repairs at Kelaniya.. (He actually maintains more BM's than the agents....same like "Dayarathna baasunnahe" for Benz)) He might be able to help to get a good BMW 520I or a 525I. But 2.2mn I feel it's too high...301- number should be b coz it's a recon. FYI.. my 1994 brand new 520I was valued by De Silva motors about a year ago for 1.8mn + when once I wanted to sell it. But you cannot get that price in reality..., 1.4 - 1.6mn would be the actual price for a good car...But there are hacked cars for even 850/= 900/= Spcially look on body condition and how neat the interior is some cars have gonethrough colour changes ... dashboard of these models are bit vulnerable and tends to crack.. So finding a good car is a bit of a challenge..

Well.. a BMW E34 with M50 vanos engine is a real pleasure to Drive.. Car is a bit heavy and you feel a real differance when you speed up.. But better go for a 520I or a 525I (But very fewin the country) b'coz a 518I is a 4cylinder 1800cc engine which is a bit underpowered to the size and weight of the car and would not save on fuel as well if you wanna feel the pleasure of Driving a BM. (Fuel efficency is not merely on the engine capacity as many people think.. there is a power to weight ratio which matters as well) Also many cars still have the prestige look and a "double headlight flash" will make even a bus diver to give you room to overtake If you check today's ##### there is a 518 white colour car (which appeared for many week for months..., !!!!) so shoud be able to get at a bargain price... BUT DON'T TOUCH A BMW IF IT'S HACKED...spending can be endless....estimates will definitely go for a six... Also I saw a 1993 brand new 18-XXXX 520I car as well with M50 vanos engine in today's #####. But the price he was looking at was bit too high...1780/= if I can remember correct...
  12. Hey... are U running on Petrol mode or gas mode when U get this issue? On EFI GAS conversions, there is an automatic switch from petrol to gas and if the both petrol and gas switch is not happening smoothly, this jerk can happen for few seconds as engine starts to Miss when both GAP and Petrol mix together... If U get the same issue when U run only on petrol mode, then it's to do with your EFI tune up..
