Could any of the Maruti owners in AL propose a good mechanic around Colombo, who specialises in Maruti repairs and spare parts? This could be quite useful in order not to get misled by bogus mechanics.

Thanks a lot Priya...could you suggest a place where i can get a good diagnosis done, other than the agents? Is it advisable to go to a good mechanic first to see whether the issue is minor, as you have mentioned?

Thanks a lot for the valuable advice. I feel much comfortable now. I will first check with the Pepiliyana guy. I did not think of going there because i heard he is not equiped with electronic stuff. At least i could get further advice on the matter there. You are spot on about the agents though. They will be my last option. Shall keep you posted.

Guys, This is my 1st post in the forum. Kindly bear with me if this has already been discussed. I have a 1997 Mazda Familia (Butterfly model) car. For the last three days the ABS Indicator light is up. What could be the reason and is there a risk in running the car with this situ? What is the best place i should consult to rectify this problem?
