what i cannot belive is that somone actually put down the money to create this monstrosity.... again futher illustrating the state of the minds in SL.....

to be more optimistic,, andrew gave a great explanation on how this could actually work to bring more revenue and improve the sport.. i actually didnt know a shell cost only 2 million.. but the fact of the matter is that there are only few who could even afford to put a million down just to bring a single seater to the country.. and then have money left to buy proper racing gear, pay fees, get a team together, pay wages, etc..... this is all good for our small fraternity to grow.. but u see this is SL.. and sooner or later our buggers will abuse this and bring down whatever they fancy.. thats how things work... but then again development thorugh corruption is an option too.... my only problem is why couldnt they bring down the price of under 1000CC cars so that a normal person can buy a ride... if this was the case more cars will be bought and what ever the taxes imposed will still go to the government... its a win win for the racing community as well as the 99.5% of the masses...

i still think even with this exemption you need to be wealthy to actually get into it with a proper car and proper gear... my problem is that the statement is so vague even in the official script that this is going to be a private party for a few talentless bunch, instead of the true talent we have in SL.. just my thoughts..

bro the tax reduction will still not benifit a lot of people.. they should have tried to reduce the taxes on everyday vehicles so that the common man could afford a vehicle.. for us i know this seems like a good decision... but is this what the country needs?

again, the term was used loosely to mislead the public... in terms of legality i am pretty sure it has to be track ready versions which cannot be registered for road use.. but i have a feeling the way it is termed it is for the king and the prince's to bring down whatever they want... and say "its tax exempted so is is actually cheaper now" or some this like that...

all this crap can be used by people of good understanding of the factors that can be compared to SL and what not.. it takes a bit of interlect to translate ur googled research and use it before someone buys the prius. most of the prius buyers dont fit this profile... i know its unfortunate becuase they could have made some informed decisions.... but that is SL... your point might be valid... but u missed one important thing,,this is mainly due to the fact that u are in US and u dont really understand our people.. u really think our buggers researched on the internet before they bought the prius..HAHAHAH.. not a chance... the prices went down.. they can get a toyota for a cheaper price and it does more fuel... sign me up... this is what they all did... once again proves that you have no idea about what happens in SL or what our people really think.

sounds like your battery has discharged quite a bit, take the battery out and take it to a place where they can put it in charge for you.. most battery shops will do this for you, they will check the battery for you too... if you are not in a hurry to go in your car make sure they put the battery on slow charge and not on high charge...

atleast a sensible hybrid owner... without all the best car in the world bullshit... but looking at the kyron thread our fears about support holds true... especially if you are outstation and stuck there is no support even for the locally assmbled (i belive) kyron... this is the problem...
