Yes.. just checked on it and 100% sure on it.. the customs only check the date of first registration.. yea tat wud be possible too if the prices in aussie r reasonable..

There has been a buzz amoung the vehicle traders that there will a tax increase on motor vehicles again.. but however there is no evidence or fact on this but the traders r expecting a tax increase this month.. and we can say "not again"

Well i don't know how u calculated it as more than 4 years.. The car is only 3 years and 4 months old when considered the date of first registration.. Well my dad has been in the motor vehicle trade for nearly 20 years tats b4 i was born too lol.. and as long as i know the regualtions for used vehicles is based on the date of first registration and it includes for permits too and note vehicles that are old as three years have lower tax because of the higher depreciation.. Dude.. if tats the way one wants to earn money then its not our style of doin business.. those who have done that r today behind bars or out of business and even have fleed away from the country.. Well i knw tat u were just kidding but i just want to justify that we respect the law when it comes to business..

The customs are definetly strict about the import laws.. but the regulations to import a car should be within 3 years and 6 months and the customs do not check the year of manf instead they check the date of registration of the car and hence this car was reg 2002/12 therefore it is within the import regulations.

It was a late 2002 car.. Thats wot i am really surprised at.. i got no clue

The tax alone was 3.3million rupees.. and total cost was 4.5million

The car skidded and crashed on to a bus.. The car was cleared from the ports on thursday..

Well it is for one of our Subaru WRX and i unfortunately met with an accident yesterday and it is important for me to complete the car by sunday evening.. I managed to buy the bonnet today and i am gettin the other parts from singpore today.. So hopefully all goes well..

The i-drive technology comes for all 3,5,6, nd 7 series. hence, for the 3 series it is an option.

The AMG for the new S-class haven't been released yet, one of my friend is waiting to get one.. I voted for the 7 series.. nd i like the B7 ALpina its totally awesome!

5 series thumbs up... actually da E-class kinda sucks to me.. no offence its my personal view..

Well i just forgot to mention.. the owner told me he's gonna introduce the Lincoln NAvigators but not sure whether they r gonna be converted here in sl... He told me tat i cud visit his warehouse to check them.. if i visit his place then i'll try to get some pics

There is a BOI plant in Peyliyagoda which converts Hummers from Left hand drive to right hand drive.. Cos i met the owner who does this and he is Arjuna Ranatunga's cousin.. His name is Suresh Edirisinghe if u have seen a Black Cadillac by the way tats his and also he own the comet cable co. Wen i met him he told me tat they convert the Hummers frm LHD to RHD and export them to England, Australia and New Zealand.. Wen i met him in November he told me that he was goin to launch the H2 in sl local market in December at the starting price of 20 million incl tax.. but i don't think he actually launched it and i havent been in touch with him since i have been in japan.. so i will find from him whether he actualy launched the Hummer wen i com back to sl this month..

In Japan the cops got for High pursuit cars like the skyline R34, Honda NSX and 350Z

I don;t think the Mayback and the Rover 75 shud be up in this list... tats bullshit...
