Thank you to all the gentlemen who has replied. Is a 1998 Toyota Tercel a good choice?

I have had 3 cars so far. First was a Kwid manual, then a 2017 manual Picanto and then a brand new Mahindra KUV 100 manual. I sold the Mahindra because I got an overseas job offer and put the money towards buying a house. I failed my medical and did not leave country for the job. I am looking to buy a car now but can not afford a new one. My budget is max 3mil. Could you please suggest me a good car? My requirements are: Ideal if its manual It must be reliable, I know nothing about under the hood of cars, I can only drive well. Must have good parts availability I need to use it for at-least 5 years. I am not so worried about selling it with a profit when the time is up Good for long runs, I need to go on distant trips I do not prefer hatchbacks. Hi there, This is my first post here. I had a Kia Picanto 2017 manual and it was a great car, the only downside was the low ground clearance. I sold it and got a Mahindra Kuv100, because of the high ground clearance. I often travel to rural places. Upto now I have done 380KMs and the fuel consumption is 7.2Kms per litre petrol. Onyl drove it within Colombo. It can not be my driving style because Ive only driven manuals and with my Picanto I always got average 15kmpl in Colombo. Is this because the engine is still breaking in? I did a ODB2 scan and everything was ok there. Is the ECU still learning? Please leave a reply if you have any information. Thank you very much Dilshan
