  1. Hey guys, generally, the banks would verify everything in terms of the CR for you if you buy a car on a lease, but if you want to buy with cash without needing a bank, how can you verify the car's registration?
  2. Hey guys, I recently got an FK6, and it has a small problem... The two bumpers are terribly aligned, and it is really killing my OCD (plus the grill is not aligned either, slightly popped out). Any place you guys would recommend who would take the time to do a good job to sort this out properly?
  3. Thank you. Will get that in a week or two. Thank you so much. Is there any model code/specifics I need to look for when getting it?
  4. Yeah, mines got a Yuasa right now too. You recommend the Amaron AGM then, yeah?
  5. Hey guys, recently got an FK6, and the battery is on its last legs as per the check up done - the shop I usually visit told me that you can run it for 3-6 months. What's a the proper battery for a 2017 Honda Civic FK6 (EX)? I believe it requires some special battery due to the auto start/stop.
  6. Looks gorgeous, may god protect your new pride and joy from evil eye.
  7. Congratulations, brother!
  8. Yup, you were right @iRage. I might have confused with a different car. It was 1.5L (https://www.carlist.my/used-cars/2018-honda-city-1-5-v-i-vtec-sedan-facelift-leather-seat-paddle-shift/16340953 seems to be similar to most listings there, and I'm sure I didn't drive a rare model, it was from a car rental).
  9. Oh, I've not driven many DCTs extensively. I think you're right, they were not Hybrid. I've mostly driven an automatic (121) and CVTs. Probably felt odd by the DCT or like someone else mentioned, might be a faulty DCT. It just felt odd. I put the car on Drive and slowly released the brake pedal, and the car wouldn't budget. I had to hit the gas pedal for it to start moving and then I could control it with the brake (No, brakehold was not turned on).
  10. Cmon, driving in Mexico is an expression, not literally 🥲. But I did actually live in Malaysia for 3 years.
  11. I had a friend back in Uni who always told me: "If you see a Honda driver, run as far as possible. It's always the Honda drivers." Now that I got one, I understand why. The car is literally begging you to go heavy foot (the overall feel of the car). Also, please share the clips
  12. It was really weird, not sure if the DCT was gone. Guy had a CarChecks report suggesting it is fine. I didn't like the drive at all, so I moved away. Funnily enough, the Grace comes as Honda City in Malaysia, where I drove a load of them, believe they were higher than 1.5L, can't remember if it was 1.6L or 1.8L, those were smooth as hell.
  13. I test drove a Honda Grace, it was so weird. So I didn't explore any DCT cars, plus the potential repair on a DCT/Hybrid cost is too high, so I skipped the DCT/Hybrid systems entirely given my luck. Otherwise, I was hell bent on a Vezel (for being bigger since I'm fat and 6ft tall) or a Grace (3M cheaper than Vezels and Civics). Also yeah, the older JDM cars with engine swaps are insane. A friend of mine has an EG6, it's a rocket. And another friend has an Evo 7, which is even more insane. Sadly, both of them have taken their cars apart for months and are doing full restoration since those cars are their second cars and also serve as project cars.
  14. Let's just say, you can travel to Mexico multiple times in a day from Colombo. Maybe you're travelling to Galle and decide to take a few trips to Mexico on the highway
