Hi All
My Toyota aqua 2013 occasionally has an issue where the engine will suddenly go dead. It shows Ready status but when I press the accelerator it doesn't respond. Before this happens the engine will sound like it's struggling to kick in. It will jerk heavily and then just goes dead.
When I turn off and turn on after this, the car will show ready but there will be no response from the engine.
After I pull the plug out and dona reset the car works normally again. I haven't been able to scan because it usually stops I difficult places and after the reset any codes get erased.
Other than that. When driving the car will jerk sometimes when switching from EV to petrol engine.
Any insights will truly help
