  1. Already got an AWE catback exhaust system. Sitting on tiens too. The owner had 19"s on it at one time but now on the stock 18"s again. It'll need some wheels to look good. I'll post some pics when I pick it up, hopefully tomorrow.
  2. Thanks Overdrive for your valuable contribution, I'm on my way to checkout an S4.
  3. Yes the RS4 was outta the budget. But I couldn't find the higher specs S4s
  4. Yes, but wife's already spoiled by bimmers...
  5. The Buschur 350 kit was added to the new cars through the a dealership here in OH, and they still honor the warranty. The kit consist of larger intercooler, stainless piping, and exhaust, nothing more. Damn the Evo's have no cruise control
  6. What about adding an Evo VIII, Evo IX to this list? I no it's not in the same league as the C55 or the M3, but just considering that option too. In fact went to see an Evo 8 yesterday. It's got a dealer installed performance kit from a local company called Buschar Racing, claiming 350 BHP and does not void the warranty
  7. If you want some thing high end go to Sasha.
  8. Gokart can be used as a general identifier Example: http://evosales.com/pd_go_kart_dune_buggy.cfm
  9. The government needs a lot of money for development of the country and also for their own corrupt pockets. How can they do it without these taxes? I don't see that pattern changing anytime soon no matter who comes to power.
  10. It's got the SS badges upfront, so it's the 6.2 V8. And looking at the optional 4 gauges I think it's the 2SS trim level. 420BHP but the weight is almost at 1750kg. Being a 6.2 liters it still gets 24 highway, not bad compared to the Hummers.
  11. Peri, didn't you have a similar problem? I say the kit lenses are completely useless.

I was just kidding about the suspension. Yes these cars are cheap to maintain but, they tend to wear faster. They would need there engines and transmissions rebuilt when all you need on a contemporary Euro car is just another oil change. The projected lifestyle of an American car is 5 years (unless they become a classic later on) but the Euro cars are made for a lifetime. That's the main reason for the difference in price and quality. If I get an American muscle car I would pick the Dodge Challenger SRT over the Camaro. The Challenger looks meaner. There's a Chevy dealership just around the corner. And I saw at least 3 Camaros there. A test drive as you suggest would be interesting....

I can't believe you guys are so excited about it. It's just got a v6 engine with 300 bhp and typical American build quality. The prices start at $22k brand new from the dealership. Just for comparison a 2003/2004 M3 is going for around the same price. Doesn't that say something about the car? I wouldn't be surprised if it has leaf spring suspension in the back underneath that 2010 body.
  15. I think he'll be able to put the pieces together.

The Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger both share the same underpinnings from the previous generation Mercedes E class and were both built by the former Daimler Chrysler AG. Some of the interior components are the same too. As far as I can remember they even have identical instrument clusters.

American cars=crappy interior/ fit & finish. I see that everyday.
  21. (In King Julian accent) "Are you telling me what I do not want to hear?"
  22. BMI put it against the 350z and M3. M3 came first G35 second and 350z last. Strange considering the g35 and 350z sharing the same motor and the G35 being heavier. That point me back at the M3... Damn!
  23. Hey I'm thinking of adding more choices to the list and looking for you thoughts - Anyone have reviews/comments on the Infinity G35? I would love to pick up a 350z, you could get a decent one in the high teens, but its a two seater. So that leaves the option of the G35 which apparently shares the same engine but has 4 seats... Ideas from the Nissan boys?
  24. Happy new year everyone! May all your motoring dreams come true! And bring you on step closer to achieving your dream garage.
