  1. The engine overhaul was done in Jun or July 2023. There is not a single problem with the transmission. It shifts smoothly. I drive in the worst city in the world called Dhaka. It was not run on LPG but rather CNG which was very harmful for the engine. I did not get all these checks during the overhaul but I am ready to do it now. No burning oil smell and the smoke is not that visible. The ECU has changed. The original one I looked up online and found a part code 89661-1A440 where my mechanic installed 5aFe ecu but the part code is different and I don't know which car it is from. The part code of the ECU in my car right now is 89661-12710. I could not find the original fuel injectors so I put the one compatible. It is maybe a Chinese one. I guess the right wheel size of my car is 165 80 R13. Also, I want to know what SR means. Like 165 SR 13. So I came up with an initial fix that I have to change the ECU, the injectors to the original ones, and the wheels to the original size. Maybe that will fix the fuel consumption issue. What do you think?
  2. I expect 10 in the city and 15 in the highways. I have checked with several mechanics, who said the sensors are working fine. There is no engine check light. No unusual vibrating or sound. One said the tappet clearance needs to be done to get good mileage. I also don't know the actual wheel size located on the car door with a sticker coz the sticker is not there. what was the initial fuel economy you had - did it drop? Or simply you're not getting the mileage you expected. The car ran with alternative fuel for a long time. I changed it to the original form after doing an engine overhaul. Yet the fuel economy was very low. So I changed the injectors resulting in a better fuel economy but not that good. Say previously I got 3-4 but after changing the injectors getting 5-6.
  3. I have a Toyota Corolla Ae110 which has run over 220000 km. I am not getting enough mileage even though I properly maintain it. However, I have changed my wheel size from 13 inches to 15. Is it the one that affecting my mileage? Need expert opinion. Point to be noted I have done full engine overhaul wiring etc. and the previous owner ran the car with cng too.
