Thank you very much iRage for your lengrhy answer.Also please tell me is 4D55 more fuel efficient than 4D56 or will it give a higher rate due to extream accelararion when there is a need of having a fast speed?

I have found a paj MK1 that is in good condition but with non turbo 4D55. I have been told by several people that this engine does not give a good pickup in riding and in overtaking.As to them this has been called as " Gona model". My quetions are as follows. 1) Is there any accelaration problem and is it difficult in overtaking? 3) Does it worth for 4.1 mil? (Others attributes are in good conditon.No chassis issues.No legal problems.Nice car 1986) 2) Is it possible to convert to TURBO? Then what would be the cost? 2) Is it much better to go for a 4D56T with a few more lacks?

This is to ask you since I have found One for 3.2 mil. * Is it worth for that price. (Interior is perfect/Exterior with new paint/Engine seems to be ok.did not check with a mechanic/Comfortable/Old government used vehicle) Hope that you would give an answer.

Dear All, I am searching for some advices and opinions regarding my new intention of buying a used jeep model vehicle. Here are my choices. 1) Pajero SWB- Available one is more than 40 years old with 4D55 Engine 1983.( Which is the closest to me) Close to the roof there are some rust areas. But as I noted running condition is good. Chassy condition is ok. 2) Pajero junior- There are some juniors in the market.But I am not aware of the spare parts availability. Manufactured from 1996 SOHC 16 valve petrol Engine. 3) Suzuki Jimny-Difficult to find for an affordable price for me. 4) Suzuki Vitara/Escudo 1998-1.6CC petrol- Quite with an affordable price in the market as I noted. But not aware of the real fuel consumption of it.How is the spare part market and re sale value. Kindly give me a feed back. And also What could be the better engine type for the first vehicle? Petrol or Diesel?
