Will Taxes Get Changed With Upcoming Budget
NIS replied to Aruna2002's question in Car Buying Information
Good piece of information by Sylvi The grape wine says there is a plan to reduce VAT on vehicles If so how is this going to effect the 2nd hand vehicle market' Will there be further reduction of permit vehicle costs As of the current trend 2nd hand vehicles market rates have remarkably gone down -
I guess the thread is still active fyi I have a 2004 New Shell FB15 Super Saloon It has the Rear Window Defroster button in that exact location
-
Yes It does not come with power antenna The antenna is on the rear windscreen just like the rear defogger just above it
-
Its a good looking car Even I like it but if it had done 200,000km well a major engine repair is very close, think about it,if its diesel then a full over haul should have done at least at 125,000km if its so and provided that the overhaul being done properly and reliably forget the mileage go for it My guess is that this car should have a reg no 302- or GA- GB- so the price ????? Rs 1,200,000/- max

Yeah its cool to have that feature I'm soooo really used to it ! Its great when u have to do parallel parking !!
-
Here is a snap of it I will try to get a clearer image later Just grabed this from an N70 at a basement Car Park !

Yeah something like that I dont think it involves high tech (sensors etc) its just gets focused to view the rear corners and it only memorizes two settings which should pre-set for each seat adjustment (One should adjust when ever they change the seat adjustment)but this option I'm used to I find it easy to reverse without any hassle. and if u dont like it or if your concern is not the corners (as in some instances) just turn it off so the mirrors go to D position.

Yeah sure I will post a picture of it soon in fact the button is on the dash but I thought it was a common feature in many

Yeah according to factory specs the sunny FB15 tyre size -its 175/70R14 I agree with cxmjn But there are many alternative tyre sizes you can replace with the original, I had a document I will try to post once I get it and to tell u the truth I hate 175/70R14 it makes the sunny so basic with wide tyres it looks sporty so I used 195/6014R without any issue and now I use Dunlop japanese 185/65R14 still no issue both the above sizes I replaced by checking the compatibility chart you will find it in tyre size replacement charts (just google it machan) I dont think the issue is with your tyre sizes

I do not know weather it came with old shell super saloons in new shell super saloons that feature came factory fitted its not a reverse sensor There is a small factory fitted button on the steering which can be on /off when its on and when you shift to the Reverse gear the side mirrors automatically adjust it self to focus rear corners of the car and once you finish reversing and shift it to D the side mirrors automatically adjust to the pre defined state ,,,,,,, I thought it was a common feature in all FB15super saloons ................

Hi jus commenting on Lower Arm Bush (LAB) issue Beleive me I had run 20000km even after automiraj guys claimed my LAB's needs to be replaced She is as smooth as she was earlier on the roads I have an FB15 New shell 2004 If you think of replacing LABs A*W will opt u to replace the whole Lower arms instead replacing only the bushes will cost you aroud LKR 25000/- Other places will replace the Bushes for a cost around 6000/- But my opinion is that a cracked original japanese LAB r better than replaced OEM one s I was also told if the LABs are really in a condition to replace one will not be able to do the Wheel Alignment properly--- So first take your car for a Wheel Alignment If they do it without any issue that means u can run with the ones u have But if u r really uncomfortable in your drive bwtter replace the LABs Gud luck!

Hey Guys I recently bought a Toyota Carina E-AT150 1987 Car Its in perfect condition My bro got this baby on the roads and ended up heated. I had to replace the gasket etc etc and the engine is perfect back again This God damn garage fellow removed my Carb and fail to re connect all the small tubes Most of them not connected I guess they are related to the emission control sys of the car If somebody out there can give me source or lend me a Carina AT150 Repair manual It would be great. thanks NIS
