Wow seems your friend is very lucky. My uncle has ordered A-star last april and still not recieve it.

Even though it's looks bigger from outside, when come to back seat leg space is lesser than viva. And i also agree with ground clearance. By the way price and waiting time for A star is higer than viva. Better you go and try both before deciding.

I think fuel efficency also play a big part. Thats the main reason maruti goes for higher price with less options and comfort.

As far as i know this only mandotory for new vehicles. Not going to affect old vehicles without seat belts.

Well waiting time issue is not only there for viva. When comes to vehicle's A*W bring such as alto, estilo, A star waiting time is much more, from what i heard some times more than 5+ months. One of my uncle had ordered A star on march and still not recieve it. So seems issue there for all new cars.

Mate, Any idea of removing scratch marks from the window? Both front windows in my car have scratch marks from inside(which got visible after removing tint). Any suggestion? Thx

Thank Peri. The problem is since wife is little shorter(4'7), she's not comofortable in most jap cars, but when she tried this car at showroom according to her it felt comfortable(with view and accessing paddles). When she get into my current toyota wagon, she even can't see road clearly.

Guys, Like to get some info from viva elite owners. Can i know hows is the pulling power of elite(with 4 ppl)? Just curios bcos it has a 1000cc engine. Also can it reach 100kmph with 4 ppl easily?(hoping to use new highway when it get finish ). Thx

Well im using family corolla wagon these days and it caneasily accomodate 3 ppl and if tried can squueze a 4 ppl . So you can understand why im looking for back seat space mate. Thing is when looking from out side viva seems in same size as alto and i defintly know alto can accomodate 2 grownups and if try one chil in between SO thought viva is the same. Anyway i can be wrong. By the way you guys have any idea how much advance we have to pay when reserving a viva from agent?

Guys, I have seen "Mazda Demio"(2001) & "Daihatsu Mira"(2003-2004) going around 1.4-1.5 mil these days. What I like to know is when compared these two which is more comfortable and have second hand market? Also are they worth for that price? Which is more fuel efficient and have more space? How's spare parts availability of these? I know there are few threads open regarding these cars, But posting this so i can get all info in same thread. Thx
