Thanks, In my case I Had the Leak for about 2 weeks and then suddenly it was OK. there was no oil leak at all. then I Got a sound when i drive in rough roads. After my mechanic look at it he told that the bush have broken (This is another Issue), I have to replace the bush. Yesterday when i take the car out, i saw that again their is a small leak. that's why i thought of repair this. Will it ok after replacing the "Repair KIT" normally how much is it? Regards, Kasun

Hi Guys, I Have a KIA Spectra. There is a Oil Leak in the Steering Rack. My Mechanic gave me two options. 1. Replace the Steering Rack with a Recondition one. 2. Change the Oil Seal of the Rack. As he said, some times by Replacing the Oil Seal is not working. and Finding a recondition one is little bit difficult for KIA. What is the best thing I have to do. Please advice me. Regards, Kasun

In My car also having the same thing, I went to the garage to look at it. He tole me that my Stearing Rack Bush have broken. I Have to replace the Bush. Regards, Kasun

Thanks Don and others for the Valuable Replies. This Saturaday Im hoping to go on a Trial Run again about 20 KM. After that if the issue is still their Im going to take the car to Diagnasis. Will that help me? Can it be a Electric Issue. Cant it be a mechanical Issue. By doing a Diognasis can we identify a Mechanical Issue? Thanks and Regards, Kasun

Yesterday I Went about 20 KM without working the O/D. It was Dead at that time. after that I went to the Garage. On the way to Garage It was working Fine. Then with the Mechanic I Tried to show him. Again it was working fine. While I Come home it was working Fine. The Mechanic said, Lets check the wire Line from the Gere Shift to the Gere Box. after that if its not working Lets Clean the Rottle Body. Whats your Ideas guys. I Have a small clue. I went to Benthota and came back (150 KM) Can some thing happen good to the Grer Box with that distance. now the gere shifting also good. I changed the ATF also last august. Without O/D when im driving about 80 KMh My RPM Was 3000. Yesterday I went about 90KMh they the RMP was 2000. Can anyone gess what has happen to this. Please I need your help. Regards, Kasun

Hi Guys, Finally I figured that my Vehicle's O/D Gure is not working. Sometimes its working and some times its not. My car is a KIA Spectra 2001. Yesterday I went to Benthota. While going to benthota is was not working but when i'm coming back it worked for some time and went off. I got to know this from the RPM of the vehicle. What will be the problem? Any ideas guys? That's when im accelerating. I Tried to go beyond 80Km/h buy with traffic i didn't manage to go beyond that. Whats the Normal Speed that O/D is getting On in a 1600cc Automatic Car. My O/D On/Off Switch is not working. I had a thread before on that buy i didn't get any answer for that.

Normaly when im going at 80 Km/h my RPM is 3000. Without any load. in 80Km/h 3000 is normal or is it a high amount?

Hi Guys, I Have a KIA Spetra (2001) Car. My O/D Indicator is not working properly. It have a Tuch Button to switch on the O/D. When the car is going around 50 Km/h I cant switch off the O/D. Its not woring. If i start the car and switch off the O/D, then when around 50Km/h again its automatically switching On. Im not sure whether its going to the 4th (OD). when im going around 60 - 70 Km/h my RPM is around 2700. is this normal. or is it doing in the OD Gure? how can i check whether my O/D is working properly? Hi Guys, I Have a small problem. My Power Antenna in the is not working properly. When I switch on the radio Only a small part of the antenna is coming out. I thing its stuck inside. one day i put some oil to the antenna also. but nothing happened. is their a way i can make the antenna working. Regards, Kasun

Sorry for going out of the topic. My Power windows are not working properly. the problem is its not coming up. going down nicely. when it coming up it stops. i have to manually give a push to go up. the motor is working well. is their anything that i can put to the glass like Oil. i think thats the mail problem.
