I'm a newbie just thought I'd add my thoughts here. I used to live on a bike many years (early 90s) ago a Honda 2 stroke MBX125. It gave me endless problems and was a dog to maintain but when it was good it gave me a thrill that's hard to imagine.
Although aware about the 4-stroke rise against the 2s I feel for dizzy revvabilty there's nothing like a 2 stroke!
I'm quite attracted to an Aprillia RS as well. And toying with the idea of getting one. Yes it's Italain which makes it an even more exciting prospect!
It widely known to be the best handling bike around. And known to thrash bigger machines in the twisties. So I feel it will be a pure sensory asault machine! Not so practical for sure. But then that's not what I'm looking for.
I've also heard that some Aprillia Mechanicals are Suzuki based. Is this correct?
Anyways at 70k it looks an absolute bargain!!
