wel i did try it once.. since i had some extra coke which somehow got left over a night o partyin wit me pals... a nut near the battery was stuck due to the rust so i poured some o it over the nut n waited a bit.. tried again to unscrew it n it came off quite easily! havent tried to remove rust specifically.. so not sure bout it.. but this coke therapy is really quite true..
