eh.. now i am def getting confused.. that means i ve gotta buy the shock and the coils seperately eh? wel frankly i would be looking at a bit of a sportier type of suspension (though nothing revolutionary) to smoothen up the ride and hopefully give a lil more steadiness while cornering.. that is until i get to the suspension as a whole.. ya 5afe running on stock alloys ? Zz
-
wel ya could always get those shift lights if the "ZeN" has no go in ya lolz.. @ isuru - miracles do happen buddy heehee.. Zz
-
aint there no part in SL where ya get no speed limits/coppers? cuz from what I remember there are places in the US where speed limit does not apply.. cant remember the location though.. Zz
-
hehe.. wut to do buddy.. i kept telling me dad the times come kiyala.. and it keeps on getting postponed.. i do what i could to mod the car while dad does stuff to maintain it ;-) kinda like a team effort yo! lol somehow gotta get the suspension done with KYB stuff.. n increase the ride height a bit hopefully.. approx how much d ya assume da total costs come to eh? Zz

was watching the Drift Bible by BMI and it seems standard dif. LSD s dont do a perfect job eh... but hel.. its worth a bloody try man.. if i were ya n have a pocket full o notes to waste i woud def try some drifting lol... 6 bloody techniques they say.. good grief.. Zz

guess in ma case.. its a red mandatory alert.. had a trip to kandy n me bloodh header 2-1 section got scratched over the slightest bumps.. and i had to move around really slow due to the smooth roads in the outskirts of kandy.. 99750 kmz on da clock without a change of shocks would give ya an idea yeah? ;-) lolz.. hmm... i thought the ECU was programmed to perform the required calculations based from the sensors around and in the car.. if an excess air flow would occur the sensor would send the signal and the ECU would most probably work at default values unless and otherwise the ECU is modded.. i doubt whether there would be any damage as in the case of high flow systems, most ppl have been using the default sensor.. have there been cases of the air sensor failing due to more airflow dude? nevertheless.. it is cheaper to get more air into the engine than less.. less air would mean more unburnt fuel and low fuel efficiency.. more air would be the opposite (most of the times).. am bloody hel trying to find a freakin mcfoil sheet to somehow divide the engine from the air filter.. as i mentioned in an earlier post in a dif post me think.. there are aftermarket stuff which would assist in somewhat creating a heat boundary around the air filter.. doubt its effectivness though.. hmm.. 2 seperate components ? would that mean when changing the shocks.. the springs gotta be changed too or would a pair of shocks include the springs? this got me confused.. the springs on me rear wheels could be moved up n down with just a simple touch.. so planning on attending to it soon.. was just wondering whether springs or shocks were to be bought seperately.. Zz

ado.. if it would interest ya.. i found a stretch of beautiful tarmac on me way to matugama down south.. the road is so smooth n begs for some tyres to screech lol.. n yes,, the fun part.. there are loads o corners.. does ya car have LSD dude? Zz
-
give t time.. n they be pointing da freakin laser at ya.. just make sure you be a DK around those corners k... lol Zz
-
KYB or kyobo.. cant remem the bloody name got certain gas shocks available which really does a good job on most vehicles.. there are shocks which are also adjustable to go so that ya could set ya preference and let the shocks do the rest.. depends on how well ya shocks could handle.. just a question. n00b stuff.. is the springs combined with the shocks? cuz i hear of certain ppl cutting their springs abit to lower da car n stuff.. Zz

woofah.. spam capitaan is back! jkz.. welcome dude.. jst when da forum was losin itz thread's activeness.. heehee.. Zz

just wut i had in ma mind dude thanks for gettin it done n over wit lolz... alright alright! if ya really wanna drag.. y not take on me wit my lame ol sprinter eh? i sport a super fast 15 sec (me think/not sure/most probably not/below 10 i hope) 0-100 timing.. so anyone wanna get thrashed? lmao... Zz

The cone filter has nothin to do wit da sensor bro.. its just attached to the pipe leading to it so if there would be any failure it would be directly as a result of the sensor itself and not the cone.. as pila said... fuel consumption would be drop like crazy.. plus getting a specialized box done would be at times troublesome but rest assured ya might get a bit more hp who knws.. if the thing could be heat wrapped.. then it would double the efficiency.. Zz

lol.. ill def let ya knw once i got myself loaded with some $$$.. but it seems like the trap locations have changed quite a bit.. and put into use more in the town area rather than the rural areas.. cuz I went to Kandy with avg speed of 90 odd and there was not a single coppa waiting for me then there was this Sonata dude who i had a small compete with and he ended up getting copped bout 5 km before the Kandy town once I let him overtake.. even the same goes to the down south roads.. talk about boring looking cars hehe.. it seems that justifyin the costs of getting it and installing it.. is kinda pointless in a way.. dude.. there is this system i think would suit US and the UK.. this device is flashed to update it with the latest location of speed traps etc. and works in conjunction with GPS.. it has a database of maps of all areas where there is "fine" risk.. would warn ya in advance n stuff.. though it is quite costly.. pretty amazing how technology would help ya lmao... Zz

cool unit dhp.. bloody price of 400$ odd though.. and it aint on ebay for a good discount i guess this hard-wired system would be outta my sight till i get some good $$$.. btw.. do those guys ship to SL or abroad for that matter? Zz

Any idea what the brand is dude? i thought electronics were meant to operate at a certain regulatory level (which gotta be approved by eh.. cant remember the bloody dept.. ya knw that wordings o certain electronic devices say "this device is rated class --- by the some electronic foundation thingy". And saying it would not cause any interference with existing electronic devices... anyways everythings good if we could jump the fine Valantine is a bloody costly setup from what i remember when i was hunting.. though most of the detectors nowadays got forward and rear sensors... Valantines implementation is far more accurate with a very low failure level.. cool stuff.. does this come with voice prompts warning you with visual alerts? as for the laws.. lol.. certain laws are just to prove that "they" are in control.. lmao.. i wonder if any of our wonderful law makers got any doctorate... lmao.. Zz
-
Well I had a bro in law who changes his vehicle kinda like every year just a like a policy. If I were to purchase another vehicle it would definitely be as an upgrade/economy based decision. Though everything depends on how much DI ya ve got yeah.. Zz
-
darn.. that Gtr is a beauty man.. spanking alloys! when would it be released dude? Zz
-
i do buddy but who could be following vehicles al the times? heehee.. do ya suppose our local kossas would knw about these jammers and pull ya over? Zz
-
Thats why its always safe to draft behind other speedoholics it ve saved me loadza times.. lolz.. Laser speed guns has a way more faster speed calculation period.. while the Radar guns need a few secs of pointing and homing... Laser guns would in most cases indicate the vehicles speed instantly.. are there any Laser jammers? Zz
-
cuz I have never heard of any members here (til now) bout their profession being a medical based... most are wrking in IT me think.. welcome 2 AL dude.. please free post to reply/start new threads etc on topics you feel would be worthy of discussion (automotive stuff mind ya! ).. use the search function to locate any threads/discussions before posting either to find good info else to knw as to whether the thread ya are going to create was not discussed.. Zz
-
keep da car man.. quite hard to be da owner of a good conditioned carina.. it got a meany sporty look.. what are ya plans? Zz
-
Oh.. if its the laser shit.. then forget it lol.. but lets be thankful in a way that there aint no automated photo speed traps n stuff wit CCTV all over the plc.. but i dont think it would be a laser based gun buddy.. cuz it has a big screen at which ya ve gotta point the car too.. and it seems far too big if it were a laser system... Zz
