  1. Oyee.. rather than looking at the ratio of people doing their own servicing (washing etc.) at home, why not look at the number of prospective customers over there in Negombo and based on that decide whether startin up the joint is worth or not? with some proper marketing n some promotions, ya could get a good number of customers... And as fuzzo said.. quality of work is a must.. Hola assured me though of a thorough n spick n span job the same must also be said on dose ya hire buddy... Zz
  2. not bad not bad.... looks really nice man... does it go equivalently fast ? heehee... Zz
  3. datz what i told.. me pal swears by it.. i know its bullshit anyways.. just needed to confirm though lol... Zz
  4. so true about the ontario.. i recently got some pics based on that area relating to environment pollution.. the article did say that the cause for all was the nickel mining and the factory spews out so much toxic that it keeps on raining acid.. and toyota contributing directly to these mining efforts via purchasing tons of nickel is not in keeping with the "be green and less mean" advertisements.. interesting article bro! but I did hear bout prius not taking off as it should, in other sense, not the car of choice for most individuals.. Zz
  5. Eh.. how bout some before and after pics dude never seen your car before the grill frankly ... but i see this brings a smile to ya face lol.. and please pics in daylight! Zz
  6. All the very best dude! May it bring showers of joy and happiness.... Happy Bathday! Zz
  7. Interesting topic! The draining of your life force upon impact is directly proportional to the speed you are travelling.. go slow n whack a lamp post, you would escape unharmed but knock it at around 100+ and voila, the gates of heaven (i hope) are open... there was this test conducted by top gear relating to micro styled cars and one particular car called the Smart. The car passenger compartment was intact inspite of it being crashed into a concrete wall at around 60 mph but as said by the host, the human body cannot cope with the such deceleration and the person would definitely pass away due to internal injuries.. But then again, speed could not always be attributed to accident. It is nevertheless the MAIN cause for most of the accident. Accidents could also occurs due to the wastage of tyres, improper strength of the brakes (once again speed ) and plenty of other stuff.. speed nevertheless plays the most vital role in killing a person.. you cant kill yourself if you go at 30kmph in a car without brakes yeah? (unless its a cliff or otherwise) ... so yes.. speed does kill! Zz
  8. I am no analyst of motor vehicle brands but what i have perceived over the period of time is that Toyota s have a bloody good marketing scheme and reputation for extremely reliable vehicles. Top gear's test on the Toyota Hiace (pickup truck, name might be wrong so apologies) made me be in awe as I never thought vehicles were so durable. As for mazdas, they are mainly highlighted in the fields of sports cars and cars that looks good and performs good, but as many other members pointed out, fuel econo and various other factors makes it far less a choice than Toyota. If it were a european country, mazda would most probably be the choice though the famed latest releases such at mazda 3 and rx8 would not be a choice considering it being purchased by a fairly mature individual.. Just a question, might be utterly stupid.. but one of my pals swear that the VVT engines of toyotas perform bout 15-17 km/l within the city.. just want to verify whether its true or not.. obviously it would not according to my knowledge but i just want to enlightened.. Zz
  9. Pioneer motors is the most reliable place and cost wise is quite affordable... they at times supply their stock to A*W too when Nissan parts in their stocks go low.. Zz
  10. nicely rubbing it in eh? dont let me start Zz

  13. Wel I have seen plenty of 3M outlets have injector cleaning or else you could try Kl***park... if it is calibration you need then I do remember seein this ad on hitad relating to such services.. I am unsure bout their quality of work though.. Some other members of AL would have a better solution... Zz

  15. wel then.. i suppose hola gotta get used to a maruti atleast to get used to the steering.. but frankly i hate feeling small when driving around other vehicles lol.. it gives ya a feeling of inferiority like ya ve gotta be timid lol.. scared o the "big buggers" running over ya lol.. but hell.. as long as ya could wiggle ya way out of the traffic.. i d say go for it! Zz
  16. wel ya could spilling some water over the table n placin da laptop over it just kiddin! dnt try it lol... there are these portable A/C s dude which retails for bout 5-8k which is quite cheap.. that could be a good solution for ya heat prob.. not 2 mention da terrible heat @ nite too... Zz
  17. shit man.. ya ve rekindled ma memories.. awesome cartoon wit a nice soundtrack lolz.. gotta search n download... Zz
  18. wel .. am always prone to the inevitable.. just read up a bit on topic.. and seems like older vehicles have a higher resistance to petrol being mixed in diesel.. they say that the injectors and sensors on the newer vehicles are way more sensitive and thus prone to malfunction if there are variations in the fuel being pumped... so i gues tata buses are using stone age engine tech ;-) Zz
  19. oh.. yup.. an edit should have been done .. right hola? nywayz.. cool down bro.. am a big fan of the drag scene too.. not quite knowledgeable bout it (still/for now).. so dnt take any opinions to heart.. and i am positive that he meant racing around in da traffic n not drags literally so stay cool bro.. Zz
  20. My gues is as good as ya s dude.. the sealant seemz to be bit scrwed up.. i ve heard that artic silver does quite a good job conducting the heat so i guess i better somehow find the crap via the net atleast... plus everythings installed perfectly and the processor aint overclocked.. dont wanna risk extra bucks.. the best part is that the system runs smoothly lol.. even in high load times.. gotta another prob though recently.. gpu s cooler went bust.. sigh.. what a life! i ve noted that with the casing closed the internal temp is way higher in comparison to it been open.. so that s why i ve opted for the open air solution.. lol.. unfortunately.. over here construction work is pretty high so dust too causes major probz.. fried nuts is somewhat ok lmao.. shooting blanks? now thats a way different story lmao... considereing DevzZ financial status.. and A/C would very wel be eh.. well... lets say a stock part of a home jkz.. Zz
  21. its not the ECU that bothers me but mechanical malfunctions.. i mean.. petrol n diesel are two varying fuels and have different detonation styles.. which makes me wonder.. n also.. diesel burns faster than petrol?! Zz
  22. great plans! gonna be happening.. would def try to make it.. me studies clashing though @ isuru - i see you found yourself a partner Zz
  23. ah.. a body kit on a beat.. Holaz dream come true @ Hola - dnt ya feel a bit unsafe riding a small car in traffic while other vehicles are somewhat like monsters ready to squash anything in front o em? Zz
  24. luckily it aint microsoft Devz - ya sure bout the pipe size differences ? cuz lol.. i had the pleasure of being in the same situation since my dad insisted that what he was about to pump was petrol (despite all my pleas) and voila.. diesel in a petrol tank.. after the diesel being pumped though.. ma dad questions me and asks whether it was petrol.. lol.. n i was blamed! nywayz... didnt start the car and got a mech dude come n clean out the tank.. from what i hear a lil bit of diesel wouldn hurt.. @ miniace - these bus buggers (mainly uphill routes) pump a liter of petrol to every full tank of diesel.. wouldn that have any effect on the engine? Zz
  25. Yeah.. heat causes most of the lockups.. my desktop processor runs at a egg frying (almost) 80 odd degrees despite all my efforts to speed things up.. the only alternative being an aftermarket cooler which i do not have the cash for ... and there are issues bout laptops being used on the laps.. lol.. i suggest ya read up on those before ya put em on ya lap.. @ saturn - there should be a way to replace the stock cooler on the laptop with that of a better performing brand yeah? in terms of size and dimensions i am sure that there should exist aftermarket replacement fans.. heat is pcs killers.. especially in SL (during this season).. things get way too hot.. i normally remove my pc casing to keep things a bit cooler but i suppose that in ya case Devz it is literally impossible.. Zz
