Hi mates, Thanks a lot for the response. We did check the battery from the Thimibirigasyaya joint they said the battery is fine. Now after replacing the belt the garage bas sadi the alternator is doing fine.. Can this be an issue of a sensor?

Hi ppl, My father car which is a 99 model FB 15 was serviced at pitstop two weeks back and during the service they have mentioned that the alternator cable needs to be replaced. Then from the following day while driving the battery indicator poped up.. and after few seconds it switched off and this behavior is taking place frequently. We replaced the alternator cable and the indicator dint pop up for some time and it started to show up from yesterday again. Whats hard to understand is that it the indicator stays on for very few seconds. Please help me out here. What can be the issue?

Hey guys, You'll have got me wrong.. I never wanted CK2 to go for a carb for a bloddy 97k. In my case we had the luxury of getting it claimed under the maintenance allowance. I wanted you to call Kapila and ask him for a place to get a good carb as thats all i can do. When we were looking for a carb he showed signs of knowing what he is doing and had some contacts. No need to change the mechanic nor buy it from UML. i think 18 is a good price for a recon carb but machang its not easy as we think cos i saw it from my own eyes what condition those were in. Hi Ck2, Machang, I have been through the same procedure 4 years back. Let me tell the story machang, I had a CK2 2000 model. Due to its previous owners crazy driving the carb had the same story as of yours. Mind you my mechanic told me the same thing. Eventually bought a brand new carb the last of the lost UM had for 97000. Before buying it from UM did some shopping in panchika watta. They have carbs from 15-25 .... My mechanic did not like the idea of putting a recon one. call this number Kapila - 0777193397 he is my mechanic hell be able to help you out with the carb matter.

Hi Tilak, As far as i have heard 1500CC Super Saloon could be imported brand new through agents under special requests. I have a 2003 N16 Manual Super Saloon which has been imported bran new and is 1500cc. This is a great car and is very economical yet so fun to drive. I can upload some pics if you want. hmm, Its like this i personally dont like 1300 engine and obviously its the carb engine... if the body and tunning condition is good then 7 would be an ok price for me. i saw an interplay hatch being advertised for 9 odd recently.

Hi, I have been looking for a mazda hatch for some time now. Its a really good car. Are you sure of the YOM? Is it an interplay hatch? if its a 1500 DOHC (Interplay) it does around 9-10 in city cos one of my friends is having a one. I say the price is a bit high try to negotiate. Hi friends, I have a FB 15 YOM 99. It has clocked 86 whicih is genuine cos i am the first owner. Today in the evening when i started my car all of a sudden there was a huge jerk ( ABS button lit up for couple of seconds and went off). Then i accelerated a bit and i when i released the pedal the engine stopped. Then i started again and it was knocking for some time and i could see the rpm wobbling. It was steady when i put AC and i drove it for 5 or 6 kms and it was looking ok and i could feel the car not pulling properly. I am a bit worried, is it the sensor? Would a normal engine tune up fix the problem? I would highly appreciate on any comments. Thank you very much

Machan whats da reason for the conversion? Thank alot Guru.. Machang i always prefer a manual over auto cos of the performance reasons.. if the conversion is around 60k which is ok with me would you recommend doing the job? any place to get it done?

Hi mates, I am planning to get my hands on a mazda interplay hatchback. Recently i found out a superb hatch which is of first owner and has done around 240k. Price is also reasonalbe i guess.. which is around 650/=.. YOM is 1994 and number is 19-. My only concern is that it is automatic!!!! . I would prefer going for a manual one, i need expert advice from you ppl on converting auto to manual if i can get an interplay engine and gearbox.... please be kind enough to tell me the pros and cons of this sort of a job and any reliable place to get the engine and get it done.... I am heavily relying on the advice since i am fairly new in this part of the game.... Thank you bros....
