  1. My Ammie taught me how to speak and read singhala when I was six. I can still speak singhala, although I talk like you would write I guess you could say. I'd really like to learn to read, write and speak singhala again. Do you guys know of any online sites or books that I could get to help me with that?
  2. .. There's alot more that I'll post later
  3. My school had an autoshow today on behalf of all the mechanical engineering competition groups in our school. Here's the pics: Locost a friend of mine is building based off an older toyota celica Wreck racing 2007 competition car - this is the competition group I am in.. we built this car for $2007 budget, it has a 2.7 litre turbo engine. Our car for next year.. 1uzfe (lexus v8) swapped miata. Budget is $2008
  4. Yup, they are e30 m3s! You guys all know you dig the clown woman!
  5. I love all these turbo bmws that are coming up
  6. Clown woman we saw on the freeway on the way home
  7. Here it is guys!
  8. Hey My car is alpine white. CSUN is in the valley.. haha where all the lankans are. I live in the socal southbay area so I'm about an hour away. I have a cousin that goes to CSUN.
  9. I was practicing "drifting" (more like a powerslide since I don't have lsd and cant counter steer). Anyways I had made the mistake of switching to a very thin synthetic 10w30 oil and when the revs increased on the engine the con rod bearings in pistons 2 and 3 worn down alot and caused knocking.
  10. Hey thanks for the coments. Heres the old thread http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?showtopic=3333. Are you on bimmerforums by anychance?
  11. Hey all, I 've been gone for awhile as I was swamped with work during my last semester of highschool. I finally finished the rims today that I've been sporadically working on since April. My car is now undergoing a complete engine rebuild after I blew the engine back in june powersliding. The engine rebuild just started and I am adding a turbo to the car! The car won't be running till July 2008 because I will be away in Georgia for college ( Georgia is more than 2000 miles away from California).
  12. Rims look awesome. I was considering powercoating, but it's a bit above my price range to do all four. With the proper prep rattle can paint should hold well. Also I'm not sure how long I'll be keeping these rims. Once my power output goes up I may find myself wanting to go towards a wider rim like 15 X 8 or so.
  13. Got around to working on the rims again tonight after a crazy week at school. I decided not to be lazy and go ahead and also refinish the rear ends of the rims as well. The green stuff you see is paint stripper an the wrinkled silver stuff is paint chemically peeling off.

    800hp Bmw M5

True but you also loose alot of exhaust gas velocity by mounting that far away from the block. Course I guess when your engine is built to make huge hp numbers lag is really a huge concern.
  15. I got them off tirerack.com for $60 each, total with shipping came to $300.12 which is a pretty good price for sport tires. Only thing that sucks about these are that they aren't really mad for winter driving, however since I'm in southern California and I won't be taking the car to college I don't really care.
  16. Thanks. I can't take credit for the pics, they were done by a local guy. ALot of these guys hang out on www.bimmerforums.com if you guys are interested.
  17. Here are some pictures I came across taken from some of the car meets I've been to in Los Angeles/ Torrance area : Originally a meager 325i, this car now sports and s50 engine (e36 m3 engine) with rms tuned supercharger This is probably one of the fastest N/A 328i's that I know of. THe owner is on a mission to make the fastest n/a + nitrous m52 powered 328i out there. He's currently running 11.1 : 1 compression ( I believe) with a nitrous express kit. He's had some problems with tuning so he's going to redo this system and make it into a direct port system.. insane.
  18. Well, I'm been prepping a newer set of rims to put on my 320i for awhile now so I thought I'd upload some pics. The plan is to have graphite centers with a polished lip. Currently I'm almost ready to paint, just need to sand and mask off the lip. Silver will be the first coat to even out the blemishes in the rim, and slightly brighten the final color, graphite. Rims are 15 x 6 BBS RA's (I believe) with an et 13 offset ( really hard to find and perfect offset for an e21 320i). My car with the old set of rims ( sold now) Rims as they are now with all old paint stripped: Close up Paint stripper ( this stuff has been saving me soo much time paint Tires ( kumho ecsta spt 205/50r/15) Stay tuned for more development, I hope to have these done before my high school prom.
