  2. Hi don... 1. No he one I used on mine is reversible... It’s so easy to remove as soon as you spray it. Just wipe it off. Later if you decide to remove it, you’ll have to use acetone based liquid (or a nail polish remover would do the trick). You won’t have to replace the lights. BUT make sure you use a quality product. 2. You’ll have to use some commonsense when you are doing this. Applying too many layers will definitely give you problems. Just with one coating, you won’t even notice that it’s tinted. As I mentioned earlier, you can do 2 or max three layers, not more than that. I had 2 layers on my previous ride. Check the pics of my car and the other black Lucino in the pics above. @ EVO... I got mine from Japan, cost me Yen 1500/- . I saw some tinting spray sold at the Sirasa Motor show recently, some modifying place from Kandana, Waththala area (not sure) Problem with the tinted sheets are, you cannot get the perfect corners and it’ll leave air bubbles over raised imprints on the lights. Make sure you’ll use a good quality product. As Don said you might have problems with the visibility or removing later. So better be careful. Mine was an original product and finish was so smooth. Better do a patch test on something else before you do the full.
  3. Overdrive (OD) is the highest gear in an A/T vehicle. Most of the AT cars have only 3 speeds and a 4th (Overdrive). More impoertantly run the OD on mode, that will save you a lot of juice. But in certain roads (uphills ro downhills) you might need switch off the OD. And if you’re in a hurry to pass other vehicles or want more response, switch off the OD. But never drive long distance with OD off. As soon as we bought the FB15, I drove to Katunayake with OD off and when I returned the tank was half empty, and on the drive I could feel the high revs even at 100kmph. Not smooth at all. Then only realized what the OD button is for.
  4. Simply use the Darley Rd method. Paste and cut. Yes you'll have to use some Shampoo when doing the pasting. I used Tinted lens spray on my ride (it comes in a spray can).
  5. Your brake lights will not be visible/or could be mistaken only if you spray layers and layers over. I did only 2 in my previous car. Looks nice and no change in visibility. Lens sprays are not permanent. Since EVO_Croozers' car rear lights are straight and plain you could use the tinting stickers. The only drawback is peeling from the edges and scratch marks. The Red is mine with 2 layers of Tinting. Check the Black with around 6 layers of tinting, very nice but I don’t think you can see the brake lights at all, unless you use a 500W bulb.
  6. You might not get a good finish with the tinted stickers. It might be difficult to get the corners and curves nicely. And the edges will come off after some time. Get a lens spray. It’s about Rs.1000 (can’t really remember) If you overspray or any mistake, simply wipe off before it dries. Simple!!! . For the best effect use a clear over coat on it. DIY job. Anyway try with a tinted sticker first as it is cheap and could not harm any thing.
  7. You can buy the tinted lens sprays from auto shops. Don't use too many layers. 2 is good, Max 3. But you can't use this on your head lights. First of all learn Japanese to read the instructions on the can.

Yep... It's better than bribing cops... Have a lawyer who'll appear for you. He will look after everything. Otherwise going to courts is a WASTE.

You can get a one from RMV. But don't bother. You'll never need this. If you go for a court case and found guilty, after you pay the fine, you'll get a record on the sheet. But don't worry; simply say you have lost it. They are not very harsh on this.
  12. I just heard Y*sFM together with AMRC is organizing a gymkhana event on the 7-Oct @ the Autodrome. Y*sFM is providing the track car, and it’ll be a March Beetle model. The main drawbacks are the car is an A/T and they they’ll be taking out the hand brakes. So no hand brake turns. This event will be similar to International Gymkhana events and the Winner and the 1st Runner-up will receive the privilege of competing in the next World Gymkhana World championship in Taiwan. So who’s interested?
  13. What a drive in the 1000cc March event. Lakshika showed how to do it for some male races (including her 2 brothers).
  14. But the M12 rear lights.... with Hyundai skin. Actually which is the original, Hyundai or M12. M12 is 2003... and the hyundai is 2002 right....

  16. Thanks to Channel Eye coverage, had an exciting Sunday morning though couldn’t make it to the Katu. Coverage was very good apart from the two stoppages. Man... What a finish from DD. That’s one of the best moves I’ve seen in SL motor racing. Won by just half a car length. Yoga’s mini looked awesome. It reminded me one of the scenes of “Finding Nemo” Little Nemo chasing by Sharks... ....... Fuzzo... I think I saw you on TV.....
